I am set to pay a visit to India and am interested in buying a racquet (possibly a carlton AB900) over there as they appear to be significantly cheaper (as Yogesh has said). The only problem is that I know that in India counterfeiting is rife in all aspects of purchasing and I do not to wish to purchase a fake. What should I look for when attempting to determine whether a racquet is real as opposed to a fake one (especially Yonex and Carlton as I suspect they will be the most susceptible to copying)?

Also, do you know of any reputable and good shops in Mumbai/Pune where I might be able to find racquets from the aforementioned brands?

I have no idea abt Shops in Mumbai and pune.

When are u travelling?I have a friend who will be going to pune and then on to Mumbai.

I shall find out from the fraternity there.

carlton don't have that many fakes so as long as you go to the bigger shops like the one that have more than one location you should be fine.

does anyone know of any examples of these larger type shops in India which are spread about?
