Although it is possible to buy a racquet and play at your best without changing anything about the racquet, I feel that certain modifications are still required to make it suit your style.
What modifications have you done to your racquets? When I say modify I mean change the grip size, add lead tape, and use strings and tensions which are not in the suggested specs of the racquets.
my modifications to my MP77 3U G5 are:
removed stock original grip - replaced with Prince duraperf contour grip. The grip is thinner at the base of the grip than at the top of the grip. I would say that it is a G5 at the base progressing to a G4 to the top. Added 1 layer of Yonex Grap and added another layer of Prince No Sweat overgrip. Ths strings are BG85-23lbs
added 1g of lead tape at the very top of the frame.
I'd put a review on the MP77 but it plays slightly different from the unmodified MP77.
I haven't done any mods to my AB1000 yet......but when the strings are loose....i will string it at BG85 or BG66 at 23lbs......when the grip wear's out.....I will just remove it and add another Carlton replacement grip that are on the original AB1000 racquets......Also...i tried a 2gram lead tape......but didn't like it.....so i took it off because it tired me out quicker and it really screwed up the 'cutting air' part!!!......in laymen's term......its aerodynamic performance........sorry for the bad grammer.....

i figure that things like lead tape does no good for the overall playing life of the racquet. I say this because when you attatch a peice of lead tape to the head of the racquet(most likely 12 o clock position), this would put more stress on that certain area of the frame when you swing.....there would be more built up momentum on the head than it was designed to take.....so then i think it would eventually weaken the frame....cos also, the 12 o clock position is the weakest part on the frame...at least in my experience with the ti7 it is ^_^

I don't think it will make the racquet weak. I use Gamma lead tape, it has a low profile, and I cut it really thin. When I put it on you can barely see it on the racquet.
and for me......i cut the lead tape into 2pcs. making it 1gram strips..........then i place them at the 2 and 10'o'clock of the frame......

oh ok......i thought u used something bulky......cos the thing that zero described seen quite bulky if it interfered with the aerodynamics a lot
Ideally Speaking u should buya racket which is very Head heavy or way more balanced towards the head and then do what BamBam did.
I think he defeated the purpose of buying a 3U version with all additions and modifications.
I think u should not alter anything in the frame.I think there is so much of physics involved that we laymen cannot understand them. I think adding weight by use of lead tape might actually weaken the racket at certain points.
I guess if BAmBAm thinks that he produces the best result out of a racket by doing modifications then he Should do it.
Nothing like winning and a racket is a small price to pay for it!

I usually go by the principle that you can make a lighter racquet heavier, but you can't make a heavier racquet lighter. Hence the 3u.
It is unfortunate to know that Yonex does not cater to plp who make their racket heavier through modification. They make their 3u version more fragile than the 2u version.

yogesh, yogesh, yogesh, u have to understand that even the mighty yonex cannot bend the rule of our creator, God. To make things lighter, you take material away. (assuming price remain constant). Live with it, ok?

my modification to new Fung-2000 Ti.
unroll the original grip and roll it back on the bottom of racket(so theres a very thick piece at the very bottom of the racket). Put a towel grip over it. it feels very good.
