Here is some info on Kason Legerity L5.

It is a 5UG4, 75g weight, Iso-head shape.

I customized it with Ashway PG-65 orange for horizontal & blue for Vertical. Tension at 30-32lbs. Added four MP Grommets on the bottom and 3 at the top. Added a Blue TACTIC Microtek cushion grip.:D

String comments: Excellent string, very durable, love the colors, good control.

Racket comments: Medium stiff, excellent feel, feather light, good smash power.

This racket is ideal for defensive player, very light, very quick. If you have a strong and quick wrist, this racket will amaze your opponents.

Check out the pictures. Enjoy.:)

Anywhere I can get this one within US? Just wondering... ;) And I suppose it does NOT have the MP gromments (not even near throat area) to begin with?

Thanks for the offer, buddy! :)

Let me think about it, before making the decision. My room is still packed with 5 cab30ms, and I don't play as often as before. Just a bit itchy to try something new, u know... can't help it. :p

I will let you know, when I will take the racket + MP gromments combo, if I can't control my hand when it reaches the pocket  . I still prefer my own string job and grip. :D

dinker would surely be the coolest guy holding the coolest racket in the gym....:D

Maybe he'll string up his AT700's like mine.

Oops, yeah, you're right, both string are actually MP-65. My bad.....typo.

Can't be PG65, it's orange/black. MP65 is orange/white.

LOL! :p There's Micro Power (MP) and Micro Power XL (MP-XL), no MP65, although that's creative. :D

Dan, try two different color strings on your next racket. :)

I'm starting to get special requests for the same string job....:D

Maybe it will get popular and everyone will follow.:)

For Viper2005: I noticed that you also used the Carvel U3. I was wondering if you could do a comparison between the Carvel U3 and Legerity L5. The Kason website didn't have any information on the Legerity L5 :( Also, have you tried the Legerity L6?

U3 and L5 are similiar, I like the U3, more head light. They're both 77g, just the balance point is different.

L5 and L6 is the same, just different color. I like both rackets, suits my style of play, fast and quick.

Hi there, I've just bought a Legerity L6, which is a U5 as well. Good rackets, very light. Especially good for defending.

But yours are much, much cooler than mine. :D

congrats!

I got a chance to demo a L5 the other day, as 1 local player bought from china. The racket is very light, and they even offer G6 grip (not sure in US market, though). At first, the racket feels a bit stiff, and I think that's more or less to do with the grip size, as I am more comfortable with G4/5. After a bit drills, i think this racket is very good in double defensive type of games. Lightning fast and the shot are solid. I used it to play some net rallies, and the response is quite positive. The smashing power is there, if you generate enough speed, but since it's a completely different rackets with mine, my timing was a bit off during that time. :o

Once you adjust the timing to using light rackets, the all around play will improve dramatically. You'll notice the defense is quicker, counter-attack/drives will be much easier. Everyone should try one today!

"Lightening fast", excellent way to describe Kason rackets.
