I have seen a lot of posts here saying that they broke their AB 1000 and exchanging it a lot.

Problem is I've used it for more than a month and haven't break it till now. Ok maybe I dun play regularly enough (once per week) and I dun think my smash is that powerful either (agree ? modious, Gladius, mustafa, budi? :) )

Was wondering for those who broke it, under what situation did you actually break it? Cos will like to prevent it from happening to myself too. And what to do IF I really break it?

Thanks all!

IF u really break it, get a new racket!

$110 not a small amount leh :P

And besides, what racket do I get again if it really breaks so early? AB1000 again?

Heh heh trying to psycho me ah :)

Well, either Ti-10 or MP-100 could be my next racket (not so soon though) but I will be getting the 3U version of them if it's available.

I dun think you can find the 3U version in Singapore though...

Doh.... :(

Well still no other post yet, that means no one broke their AB 1000 yet?

I came across a chain store in UK. The retail price is 50 pounds,
the price was 100 pounds. It is the only racket that has the bargain. So, I am reluctant to buy it. What do you think ?

Mine still holds up, after 8 months of abuse... (actually my doubles partner has used it since I got the AB900)

The paint is very chipped and cracked due to a number of clashes, but the frame is fine although it looks terrible.

Hi Mag,

Same here though I have it for 2 months. 2 clashings make 2 sides of the frame's paint chip off but the frame is still fine. Only a very very small portion of the shaft's paint is gone due to blocking Byro's killer smashes :P

Some ppl in this forum here says they break within a few weeks or even days which I dun understand how they did it too, so I'm a bit worried :(

But lucky to see someone with a AB1000 and using it for so long.

Thanks!

Modious! Behave! :)

The AB1000 and the MP100 are both good racquets, but they are VERY different (I have both). The MP100 is not a suitable replacement for the AB1000 if that's what Blitz is looking for... (I'd rather suggest that checking out the Carlton Signature Ti)

Hi Mag,

Thanks for pointing out. I feel quite difficult to master the MP-100 too.....

As you can see from my choice of AB1000, I guess u can roughly tell what kinda of player am I and what racket I'm using. Problem is, is there any other racket that can replace AB1000?

As for the Carlton Signature Ti u mention, is it a new racket? I've only heard of AS-Ti so far and I dunno how it performs too.

Thanks for any more advices! ^^
