Cheung 06-25-2001, 02:52 PM Part II of Kwun's thread.

Me; cab 20 and cab 22.

cooler 06-25-2001, 02:59 PM me; cab22 and iso900sr
what do u guys think of next? best string? best value shuttlecocks?
Jeff L 06-25-2001, 03:02 PM cab 21, mp 55
Kwun : MP100, Iso900SS
*sniff*... is that all i am allowed to say? how can i explain this to my other 10 or so rackets? they'd get jealous.
shaun 06-25-2001, 04:11 PM kwun!!!! i thought u loved the mp77!
oh oh and jeff, how does the mp55 play???
Howard 06-25-2001, 06:31 PM for me Ti-10 and mp77/karakal sl-70
as i have said many times. i love them all equally, at least that what i tell them...
ok. that joke is getting a leeeeetle bit old by now.
Jeff L 06-25-2001, 07:28 PM very head heavy, much like the MP-100, just without the Ti and Ultimum shaft, or whatever its called. plays like an average racquet, id rather save for a MP-77.
harry 06-25-2001, 09:48 PM watz ti75?
harry 06-25-2001, 09:49 PM how does the mp55 play?
harry 06-25-2001, 09:52 PM hmm....mp77 and ti7
Scooby 06-25-2001, 09:53 PM MP100 and Ashaway XT-111
pa player 06-25-2001, 10:17 PM dude what happened to Cab 23??????
bosch 06-25-2001, 10:18 PM Cab23, and Ti10 soon.
Howard 06-25-2001, 10:35 PM ti-75 ?? i'm thinking your talking about karkal right??? cuz if you are the ti 75 is 75 gram racket handle up to 30lbs head .The racket in yonex rating would prabably be between stiff and med stiff.Over all it's a powerfull racquet head heavy.I find that karakal racquets are good but control is a bit off but i'm only a middle player so i don't know much about theses thing anyway.
modious 06-25-2001, 10:52 PM Mp 100 and Iso Slim 10
Byro-Nenium 06-26-2001, 01:11 AM Ti-7 and Isometric Slim-10
Byro-Nenium 06-26-2001, 01:12 AM I think if i strung my Slim-10 at about 22lbs with better strings it will be much more explosive than now....
Jaysee 06-26-2001, 01:52 AM iso900sr and nothing else :P
Daniel Chen 06-26-2001, 02:11 AM me: Victor new Fung-2000 Ti
I'm proud to present 10x Slim10 (I know it's sick but I just love that racket and I probably end up still playing it in 2030).
Ti 10 and Carlton AB 2000.
The AB 2000 is slightly modified to Smash Better. So i guess i use it when i have to use brutal power to blow the Opponent away.
Ti 10 when the Comp is stiffer. I need to drop a little so i guess nothing like Ti 10 When it comes to Control and power combo.
Blitz 06-26-2001, 08:10 AM What lbs have u strung on it now?
the infamous Carlton AB1000!!!!..........also.....the Yonex Ti-SP SR soon!!!
Byro-Nenium 06-26-2001, 12:22 PM 20..... i'm afraid it will snap!!
shaun 06-26-2001, 04:14 PM lol that cab23 was a fake....i was in love with a fake racquet, i tried a real one, but didnt put much effort into testing it....i demo'd the ti7 and cab23 at the same time and settled for the ti7 since i could get it for cheaper
Ricky 06-27-2001, 12:45 AM It is really difficult question for me (that's why I need to think about this for a day). My choice is Mizuno Mystic Power 300 (I've two now) and Mizuno Mystic Power 100.
The decision to choose MMP300 is more easy, but for MMP100 ... I try not to use it after Cheung said that it is not powerful ... however I really found that it's maneuverability is almost perfect, better than Carlton AB1000, Yonex ISO 900 SR, Ti Swing Power SA (I've all these racquets).
Other finalists:
Yonex Ti-10 - I can't swing the 2U version fast enough as my MMP300 so my smash is not as strong as a result. Have tried 3U once and love it, still trying to get one myself.
Yonex MP100 - Similar problem as Ti-10. In fact, my arm feels tired more easily when using 2U MP100.
Yonex Cab 20 - Superb feel but not powerful enough.
Yonex ISO 900 SX - Too stiff.
Yonex ISO 900 SR - Not powerful enough.
Carlton AB1000 - Very good maneuverability, but not feel very handy with Carlton design (my preference is long Isometric racquet).
Carlton AB900 - Very good for smash, but cannot control it very well.
Gosen 4400Ti - Recently bought from Japan. Quite good (the best Gosen racquet I've used so far), but string was broken at the 2nd time I played with it. Still need more time to test it through.
Cheung 06-27-2001, 07:20 AM Mystic power 100. The head is very light hence your description.
Once your reflexes and training and strokes improve, this racquet will become even lower on your list (I suspect).
Kelvin 07-07-2001, 11:50 PM Yonex Ti10 and Forza ti-tech 1100 :)
I'd have too many to list as well after the different ones I've tried.
