There is no way a player can make it pay on his own (Without funding from their chosen country). I know Lin can get endorsements sponsers etc... but I doubt his Prize money so far has covered his airfares, never mind food, hotels, transport to venues, coaches, supporting any family etc.. etc.. And he has earnt twice what peter Gade has earnt and nearly three time Tony G.
