Since in Europe badminton isnt much popular compare to Asian.

Not to worry. Malaysia SURE will broadcast in. Both RTM and Astro. As, badminton is Malaysia no 1 sports..

you r right. remember they live broadcasted last year's WC in Anaheim?
it might be bcoz of the schedule time in Madrid clashes with the Golden Time (usually 8-10pm), in which they wanna show something else which will attract more Advertisements to generate higher revenue.

there is no such thing as no right to broadcast if they r willing to dig deeper into their pocket.

So far, glancing thru Astro Sports channels on those days of World Championship, no open time slot on ESPN and Star Sports channels, only Supersports might have slot for this event ... cross your fingers:(

As I know, Lativi has confirmed in early this year to the press that they will broadcast several bdm events (as part of their sport program) and those are All England-TUC-World Champs-Denmark Open and Copenhagen Masters.So, we'll be know exactly that announcement is true or not in this weekend!

if u look at lativi carefully, sometimes u can find a small text that saying about the 15th WC. At the top left of ur screen TV, try catch it next time u watch lativi, okay =^_^= .....

If I'm not wrong,Lativi rent Telkom-1 satellite. I don't think someone who being outside INA can tune-in this TV's broadcast. Just info, I using digital parabola to get 'perfect display' of Lativi not an usual TV antenna.It's different way with high-rating audience sharing INA's TV station such as RCTI-SCTV or Indosiar who rent Palapa.

My satellite dish is set up for Palapa only because it doesn't have a motor. The motor would allow it to move around and scan for other satellites like Telcom1. Unfortunately I'll have to rely on a channel using Palapa to show bits and pieces of the World Champs. I'll have to invest in a satellite motor soon!! Adu, tidak bagus untuk aku dong!!

CCTV-5 seems a little funny. They seem to have about two to two and a half hours a day of live coverage scheduled, starting at the round of 16, which is here...

There doesn't seem to be any live coverage of the semi-finals (http://www.cctv.com/tvguide/11/01/20060923/5.shtml)but there will be a delayed broadcast on Sunday but only 1h25min. Cut short because of tennis!!

Not sure I understand this, we have live broadcast from Day 1 to 4 but isn't it the whole event lasted 7 days? What happen to Day 5 to Day 7? Can someone clearify this?

astro malaysia probably broadcast live everyday of WC, but have no idea for astro Indonesia. Astro Supersport Indonesia is awful. Everyday only broadcast live golf tournament, unless while US Open tennis hold. Fortunately Lativi will broadcast live SF and F, but it will better if Astro Supersport Indonesia broadcast from day 1, so I can see Indonesian players match!

But still not enough as badminton only on air once a month and sometimes don't have at all.. They should provide more programme for badminton fan.. Not only for live tournament, but also previous tournament.. :D
