I have read it in the malaysia news paper that Misbun has fall sick (chicken pox) and is unable to go to madrid until sept 16 so that Li Mao will be temporary taking over the training of Hafiz until Misbun has recover. I think this will improve Hafiz skill also as there is different style of coaching from Li Mao. U can just see how fast LCW has improve after been coach by Li Mao. Hope Hafiz can make our country proud this round!!!!!!!!!!!

MALAYSIAAAAA BOLEEEEEEHHHHHHHHH

Yup Misbun is currently contained in Msia due to chicken pox. I think he will be joining the team in Madrid during the WC.

I don't think Li Mao will make drastic change on Hafiz techniques as it is just not enough time to "clean up" Hafiz flaws, however, pushing Hafiz to be more aggressive in attacking and minimize on those fancy tricks may be good enough to make Hafiz a better player ... Now Lin Dan has new worries :D

Lin Dan will meet two "serious" opponents:

1. Ronald Susilo, the one sent him home at the first round in the OG
2. Hafiz, the player to be "equipped" with new "weapons" to counter attack Lin's attacking power.

2. what, diving for birdies? I don't think hafiz makes a good diver.

Hafiz may have the deception to trick Lindan. But i hope he will not always play with tricks. LinDan is not that dumb either. heheh... I hope Hafiz will do well against Lindan.

Lin Dan has always something new he has many variations... he is an all-around player he can speed up and slow it down when he wants too.. but Hafiz has excellent deception and reach

I do hope Hafiz can improved in this time WC...He should do something since BAM treat him well and give him a lot of chance...He shouldn't take things for granted...If i am not wrong, this year he only won the Philipina Open one tournament right? I am really eager to see his improvement..He should help LCW to share his burden.....Hafiz,do something amazing although i knew your opponent is LD but juz try your best..

I think Hafiz is the player that might just spoil Lin Dan's run.. well that my opinion

Hafiz has improved lately actually. I would say he is now more matured in his game.

i noticed that LD had improved too :p plus that LD had played in more high level tournaments = more experienced as well. If hafiz can move and dive + recover his large frame body like lcw, then i would say LD got his match. The taller they are, the harder they fall LOL Have u seen KJ dives and then try to get up?:p:D

Misbun leaving for Madrid on 09/16??? Hope he is not taking the chicken pox with him. On the other hand, Hafiz should be placed under Li Mao's charge for the next few weeks. Li might not be able to turn Hafiz into another LCW in such a short time, but at least the target should be exhausting LD as much as possible.

........, but at least the target should be exhausting LD as much as possible.

err, i think LD loves to play the 3rd game if his opponent is an attacking player. All losses by LD i have seen are due to mental errors, not from exhaustion.

Good point, stamina is what differentiates LD from others, this guy has superb long lasting energy to drag anyone down to their feet. For others to beat LD, especially LCW, they must wrap up the match in two sets. In the third set, its when LD remains as a bull while others become a bear :p
