You can watch WC2006 in Astro Channel 901. However, if your Astro have gone thru' the standby mode, you can watch it through Channel 83.

What is the astro box are you guys using? Nokia or Philips? How come there is no channel 83 in the astro website? I am using XSAT410 in Thailand and subscribed to Astro mini package with sports as one of them. Please help.

I had been told that due to the badminton is so call a "not popular" sport in spain and the broadcast license fees is cheap, therefore Astro is able to broadcast it from the round 64 till the final. This is really a fist time every live broadcast in badminton history!

That should be the way to promote badminton from day 1 until the Final. Not only QF, Semis and Finals.

1.press the "menu" button from the remote
2.select no.2(satelic singnal)
3.from the singnal bar,press "ok" to download.
4. now, u able to watch the ch83...

Sorry I didn't make it clear enough. What I meant is that if you're already a subscriber of the sports package, you do not have to subscribe channel 83. It is automatically included in the sports package.

I happen to see the live match when WMC won her game at taman megah. I notice that the angle of the camera position is not very strategic though. Can someone tell them to fix it and put the camera lower a little? Its like watching the match from a very steep position.:D :crying:
