I wouldn't call yesterday a day of upsets. Most of the matches turned out the way as expected, but without it being boring fortunately. A few minor upsets spiced it up further. But overall, an average badminton day.

Tough opponent for Novita/Polli, they are improving though ... Indonesia haven't had a good Women's players after Mia Audina's generation, is must be the interest/talent issue as oppose to training issue. They could have just trained the Women's with the Men's, but I know it's not that simple ...

Yes, there are some improvements over the past 1 year. Jo/Gresya are definitely a top 10 pair.

Ooi/Mooi beat the swiss ladies, they are the only 3rd unseeded players in round 3 (besides Indian and Singaporean pairs). Intersting thing is the Indian pair who enetred the 3rd round without having to play a single set. The Korean 3rd seed gave them a walkover.
