William Miroy / Tammy Sun, the mixed double from Canada, had already advanced to the 3rd round, at this 7 star WC. Before that, they had never played any tournaments above 2 stars before. Their best results before were just semi-finalist in grade A opens. What an achievement this time. Guess what they did at WC, just doing nothing!

Are they lucky or not? They may argue that they are so unlucky, because their next opponents have already warmed up by 2 more matches, but they have never got any chance to warm up yet.

It is always said that badminton tournament schedules are very tight. Too many matches in too few days. But these players cannot play until the 4th day of the tournament. What are they doing these days? Just watching or shopping?

Its not their fault they've gotten this far... :D. Its just the way it works sometimes.

Shame for Lee/Lee that they had to retire from the WC - who was injured? And who did the canadians have a walkover against in the second round?
