without further ado ... id like to invite all klang players to get in touch in this thread so we can organize frenly matches between ourselves or just join each other for practice and games .... not restricted to klang only but id like it if we all nearby neighbours can get to know each other more so we can have more oppurtunity to play .... a possible monday to sunday selection ??? that will be great isn't it ?! haha ... here i go

it is in klang town ... if u know where is Klang Parade then the court is roughly 5 minutes drive away from Klang Parade ..

heya ... my number is 0123757773 .... tonight we meet at 9 la k .. cos most of them players dont reach the courts until 930 onwards ... all nite owls .. haha .... bring a fren or two if they interested to play loh ....
there is a rm 10 charge for courts and shuttlecocks ... no limits to how many shuttlecocks that we gonna use thou and we have 2 courts .... its pretty fair rite ? thats why i stick to them lol .... so see u later man

Any of u heard/know there is a new badminton hall at Setia Alam(near Meru). I heard it has more than 10 courts n ex-China Han Jian is coaching there! (maybe has a share on ownership?!). I played with one of his 'student' - a standard 6 kid. Good skills n control for a young kid, who is ofcourse school team also. wonder how much r the court rates?

Anyway, other Klang kaki, please introduce yourself n make Badminton even more existing for Klang region!!

I havent checked the Setia Alam yet. not sure whats the court charges. As for coaching charges I heard it was RM80 per month (once/week); but that was for the primary 6 kid; oso not sure any different category coaching groups.

I really don't mind joining you guys. I am a social player and had been playing since my school days. I am 47 and probably the oldest so please please do not bully me, K....

Hi Daren,

Han Jian do coach adults but most of his students are young kids. As one to one coaching by Han Jian is expensive, so he does it in groups. Some adults may be a bit shy:o to join with the kids but if you do not mind, you could join in. Anyway, there is nothing to be shy of, if one want to improve.

It is a lovely court in Setia Alam, though I have not played there personally.

By the way, is the TNB court in Jalan Raja Bot? The badminton halls near Klang Parade is in Kwang Hua school and another one that is the MPK hall in the Eng Ann housing area.

hey there !!! tnb hall (only 2 courts available - can produce nice smashing sound hehe) is on the opposite side of the street BEHIND HIGH SCHOOL KLANG .... u wouldnt miss the court when ure behind high school klang as u can see this hall from the opposite of a (the only) chinese restaurant (which is next to a furniture shop) ..... not too confusing i hope ...
in short if ure standing behind high school klang ull be opposite TNB HALL at the restaurant (if ure facing the back of high school klang the hall is on ur right-ure at the restaurant) ! and all these 3 places is just 5 minutes 'walking distance'.

hope i get the map rite ... anywhere when ure around there can gimme a call 016 331 8996 ... ill be there most thursday nite aftr 9 15pm .... c u there man !! :)

Yes, I know the badminton hall. I remembered playing there once when I was still in school. (btw, I am an ex-High School Klang boy). You are right about the acoustics of the hall. It make you feel like your smashes is harder than Boon Heong's and Keng Kiat's!!:D

erm ... to be percise its in between the road to kapar n meru .... well its directly behind high school klang .... from the main entrance to high school klang walking distance to the court is about 3-4 minutes .... well if u interested u can come and wait for me at high school klang and i can direct u from there .... its very close by already ..... it is actually opposite tenaga ... and there r 2 tenaga offices ...... so if u wanna come please call me at 0163318996 .... bring 1 or 2 fren if ure interested ... :)
