Taufik vs Bao CL: Who will win ?

Who do you think will win this time? Taufik or BCL? Their H2H statistic is 3-2 for Bao, Taufik won their latest encounter in 2006 Indonesia Open final 21-18 21-19. Taufik ever commented that Bao is one of players he had got difficulty to beat just because of Bao's height and left-handed (sometimes this is quite confusing).:p

hmmm I dont know about growing beard.. but I just thought that Bao's game might be good but not as good as TH when compared to the technique and skill.. The number of shots TH can play is way more than Bao its just that TH has to be consistent... and Bao can be an easy prey for him...

this is EXACTLY what i had predicted. Knowing he can't beat LD in HKO and with no injury excuse to rely on, taufik employed an early exit strategy. This way, taufik and taufik's fans can say, LD didn't beat me, I forfeited the match. Therefore, you don't count this as a win by LD. :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

I'm getting tired of LCW vs LD :(. I've seen them play each other enough this year I think.

I mean I don't mind if either of them get to the final, I like them both :), I'd just rather not see the same old final I've seen in so many tournaments this year.

Err...but he has WON the WC, Asian Games (Men's Singles) and Olympic Gold Medals. So far, Lin Dan has only won one of the three and with his surprise exclusion from the MS event in Doha, he can only wait 4 years later!

Taufik DOES NOT FEEL the need to dominate the badminton world...he doesn't even care about ranking points! I am quite surprised myself that he can beat BCL esp when you consider BCL is at the top of his form right now, with a gold and silver in recent tournaments :eek:

If TH works as hard as many other pros, I think almost no one is "too difficult to beat" with his talent. TH's worst enemy (or, he does not care at all) is himself.

Actually, due to the lower ranking points, TH plays as the spoiler in the earlier round for recent tournaments (e.g. JO, WC, etc), makes the event quite interesting and more un-predictable. ;)

Hi ALL.

Taufik went the distance to beat Chunlai, the runner-up in the World Championships, 21-12, 12-21, 21-19.

Actually, I am not surprise. So if nothing happen problem with him, for example: Line Just problems, Family Problems, Injury, He can beat any player included Lin Dan.

Now, Taufik never prepare properly for his training but he still can beat BCL.
Also He got knee injury but still can win.. But the next round for taufik so not easy for him because he got injury.....

Any comment from BCL Friend.. Because Last a lot here said: BCL easy to beat Taufik.. Now after Taufik Won...The people got a lot impossible comments..... Because that you know: 21's point we can't predict who can beat who.... So Taufik so got alot talent and good player (His Stroke very completed-nobody right now have the stroke completed unless Taufik).

Bao cannot withstand the exhaustion of rubber set even he had lead 19-18 but Taufik refused to give up.:)
