Li Yong Bo will never dare to do so with TH....I am very very sure if LYB does that [shouting loudly at or speaking swearwords at TH], Taufik will surely go after him and yell at him too....:D TH will ask the umpire/referree to tell LYB to leave the court:D

TH is like 'dark horse' in this tournament. Even tough his current ranking in 30's (correct me if I'm wrong) but all the 'established' players were so worry if they will face TH.
I'm sure all the people who 'hate' TH really want to see him playing with his best always BUT sorry that kind of expectation can not be put on TH shoulder. He's moody player and don't expect him to be a consistent player like LD, LCW or PG. If you all can accept that every player's character is different, it should be no big complaint from everybody.

Anyway, congrats to Roslin who won over Chen Yu. It's big surprise for me, he won straight set and as if CY is a beginner but (don't get offended for M'sian supporter) most of the M'sian players will crack under pressure. Their mentality is not so strong. Track record have shown it many times but yet there's no solid plan/step in how to strenghten their mentality. It's actually big problem for M'sian players.

Another dark horse in this tournament is Candra Wijaya/Tony Gunawan. I really want to know the result of them vs KooKienKiat/Tan (M'sia) today?

This looks so ridiculous. It is a game; someone wins and someone loses. No one can say that he/she is invincible. TH wins this time, because he plays better than BCL. Credit to TH.

I think LYB is not surprising at all with BCL's failure because his 'golden-boy' is still on the track. Keep this question until Sunday finale if TH can beat the newly-crowned WChamp LD,very sure LYB will gonna be speechless! BCL is 2nd tier of CHN's MS squad and TH's target man in this tourney is LD not BCL. With all TH's fame and achievements so far, we should be double-shock if TH must lost again (fortunately not happened) although his WR 'just' 34. TH had done well yesterday, a very good beginning for him but he must face long-journey to get the title. 2 big name possible are waiting him -- LCW on SF spot and his arch-rival at last round. Without CJ participation and BCL ousted plus uncertainty CH, I guess LYB's only hope depends on LD. Hopefully Simon can make breakthrough action today!

No, that is you own opinion. In many ocation Taufik do said that he impress with LCW especially in the thomos cup and not the others in Malaysia team. He do mentioned also that Simo and others Indonesai MS they need to reach to world class level like what LCW is now. Because most of the player are in the same years with LCW when they fist started to play in internaltional circuit. From what i see, TH is very impress and i cannot said admire him. LCW is currently considered the most dangerous opponent of the chinese players together with Taufik. And somemore LCW is not at his peak yet, im sure he will bacome even dangerous as time comes. After reading this thread for a while, I think the angry fans from both sides (INA vs CHN) start to drag more and more victims into the match. LCW, XXZ, etc have nothing to do with TH vs. BCL (or with LYB), but somehow, their names being metioned, and worst, put it down to the ground, just because xxx said this, or yyy said that.

Please, all the pros deserve well respect, be the fact they were/are/will be great or not. They put in effort, bring entertainment for us, and we just finger point them like this???

1. Don't trust the media words 100%. Many times, they mis-understand the words, and even make up a story.

2. Even if an athlete might offense ur hero, no need to shout it back. Overall, everyone has his/her own point of view, maybe valid or maybe not. No need to take it very personally.

3. It's not fair to compare 2 generations of players, when their prime are clearly not overlaping. The young guns should not laugh the oldiest as they can't keep up the pace any more. The old crafties, no need to always being metioned in the "golden glory", and how much they can trash the young ones when they were too young to be even remembered.

Can we put aside all the pointless finger pointing issues? Overall, we love the sport, and we should respect it. :cool:

Don't mean to start all such argument again but I find your "LCW can thrash ZJH and YY 15-0" claim ridiculous. LCW cannot even thrash players like Joachim Persson or Shoji Sato 15-0. I suggest you watch a great game just uploaded by (the great) Modious, in which a very out-of-form Dong Jiong easily manipulated a young, fast and powerful XXZ all around the court simply by hitting the shuttle to all four corners, with a little deception.

Anyway, it seems to me that Chinese players are all brain-washed by LYB, including thoughtful ones like XXZ (sad). They really think everything LYB says are the truth and the only truth. In the ZJW case, I think she noticed that LCW is fast but not strong/powerful compared to Chinese MSs, and then concluded that of course (according to the current Chinese standard of "good players") LCW cannot reach the highest level.

Yes.. I am agree with you. When taufik get motivated and nothing problems with him (injury, family problem, etc), he will be the great player and nobody can beat him.

Yes.. I am agree with you. When taufik get motivated and nothing problems with him (injury, family problem, etc), he will be the great player and nobody can beat him.

Don't mean to start all such argument again but I find your "LCW can thrash ZJH and YY 15-0" claim ridiculous. LCW cannot even thrash players like Joachim Persson or Shoji Sato 15-0.

I mean if LCW plays ZJH or YY in 2006, I won't be surprised if LCW win it 15-0

And if you ask me, I say it's perfectly normal that BCL lost. Because Taufik is a better player. It seems to me Taufik changed (became mature maybe) around 2002-03. Before that he was around the same level as BCL but after that he is higher.

Xia was not in his prime when he got beaten 0:15 this year, but he is not far from his prime either, it's just 2 and half years from his WC gold, and he didn't retire after WC or anything, he was still training regularly and among top 5 in China when he got the 0:15.

I suggest you watch a great game just uploaded by (the great) Modious, in which a very out-of-form Dong Jiong easily manipulated a young, fast and powerful XXZ all around the court simply by hitting the shuttle to all four corners, with a little deception.

Not only Shoji Sato and XXZ, I remember that even Taufik Hidayat was trashed 0-15 by LCW in Malaysian Open 2005.:D
