If the result of the Quarter-final is:LIN Dan beat HASHIM Muhd Hafiz B ,CHEN Hong beat GADE Peter,LEE Chong Wei beat PONSANA Boonsak ,HIDAYAT Taufik beat SUSILO .In this way,I hope the final is between LIN Dan and Taufik.Because LIN Dan and LEE Chong Wei has played several times in the final after May.Though they are both outstanding players and seeded NO.1 and NO.2,LEE Chong Wei always lost the game.Though LIN Dan didn't seize the moment to beat LEE Chong Wei at Malaysia,he win the match at Taiwan,Hongkong and Macao.This means LEE Chong Wei's ability to take the opportunity is even worse.What's more, he often lose his self - control in the big game,such as in the world championships. So I'd rather like to see LIN Dan and Taufik play the final.Taufik won the game with a nice balance in hand last year in the world championships.Since then I have never saw the two man both in good form play game.LIN Dan beat Taufik in the THOMAS AND UBER CUP .But Taufik was certainly out of form at JAPAN in May. Because of the umpire's faults,Taufik avoid to play on when the game is 3 to 1 at HONG KONG.Another point is that :one is the former world champion and former Olympic champion,while another is the winner of the 2006 world championship.And also Olympic champion is LIN Dan's dream.So ,if they play the final,it must be very exciting .How do you think?

Lin Dan got my vote. I am fed up by Taufic's arrogant attitude in recents tournaments, in addition, I don't think IBF has done enough to curb this kind of thing from happening. However, I have to admit that it will be the most anticipated game in the MS competition.

It would be great to see the match between Taufik and LCW --- Taufik is working himself back into form and LCW is trying to stay in form. Taufik is a smart player - especially good at the attack whereas LCW is more of an-allrounder.

LCW has the upper hand on this one as he has improved out of sight over the last year whereas Taufik is struggling all this year. The odds should be 4-6 ON for LCW to win.

They are all good players. That's why it is heartbreaking when one's favourite player loses. Being a Malaysian I would like to see LCW win.

I agree if LD vs LCW were to meet again with LD winning (again), then might as well have LD vs TH. At least got different matchup, but hopefully without the line judge controversy.

Not that I don't support LCW, sometimes he may need to take a breather before finding out how to really impose himself on LD. If on losing side too many times, confidence will suffer.

LCW can learn from Roslin, how did Roslin manage to beat him after all these years unbeaten against fellow countrymen.

I would more prefer of Taufik H vs Lin D final. HIs form is unpredictable, frankly. He plays gud sometimes, then gives appalling performances sometimes. But when he plays to his best, it becomes an anticipated match and awestrucks the audience.
HOpe taufik gives us a good match against CW!

TH: 101 or 85.0 (The best if he puts his heart into it. But who knows whether Dr. Jeckyl or Mr. Hyde will show up)

LCW: 98.0 (Has all the tools, just can't win the big one consistently)

CJ: 97.5 (Next year will not be Year of the Pig, it will be Year of the CJ)

PG: 97.0 (Still great but just not quite as good as the Top 4)

hmm TH is an excellent player naturally, but man... after his marriage, no heart and everything. I think his lack of focus and interest of the 21 points will have a direct relationships with his training. I don't think he is training THAT hard. And from his recent matches at HK, hmmmm he will need more TIME to get back to his best shape as before. I don't believe in "BIG change over one night" idea. good luck to him though.

In that match actually Taufik wanted to continue, but was provoked by the umpire. The umpire told Taufik that if he does not like the decision he can leave. So he(Taufik) left he court.

His coach(Mulyo Hadoyo) told an Indonesian reporter when he was asked about this issue.

But it is no excuse for him to leave the court. Life is like that sometimes you lose sometimes you win

..yah, concur with cooler...I don't want to dwell again on this matter, but Taufik's and his coach's reports were reported by 1 source..In fact, BWF hasn't disclose anything pertaining to this matter..All the parties involved in the "HK Open debacle" met with the BWF Disciplinary Committee during the recent WC and they all gave their own accounts. However, after hearing them, *none of the arguments* match with each other(which wasn't a surprise either), thus the Disciplinary Committee decided not to release anything on these; except they gave Taufik some sort of disciplinary actions..
