Hey that's excellent, full coverage! That's really great, because as the last few tourneys have shown, some of the greatest matches take place in the early rounds.

i guess that's because PPStream is in chinese and your system language is not set for it. If you know chinese, you need the AppLocale Utility by Microsoft (which kinda activate other language thn your system default and conversion of non-Unicode applications running on the Unicode based Windows XP). you cd google it for more info or check the following webbie:

http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/tools/apploc.mspx

please read the notes before installing. once completed, just run the program and select PPStream. it shd solve the problem..

and one very important thing, it needs validation from microsoft ;)

How can I find the CCTV-5 channel ?To get Guangdong Sports on PPStream, use this monstrous link (ppstream://pvoticad3e6zrhmiapm5xgjhqyb5tu3cnzfahwokmpuwea6z3u a45gid3hndxlzbapm5ejqdaeb5turgambqhwkgkztgea6z.pps/WP425HVFA3C54EPDHVZSA7YMU5AJI5Z6). For CCTV-5, it might be this (ppstream://125.93.52.3:44444/4QGMQLFIQD4XPW2D4JHC6IR6P6Q3SCOL) or this (ppstream://125.93.52.3:44444/4QGMQLFIQD4XPW2D4JHC6IR6P6Q3SCOL). I find PPStream very irritating. I don't know what the problem with the encoding is. Even if I access it through a browser window on a computer which regularly displays Chinese characters, it still gives me gibberish. To get those links above, I had to do a search, which turned up nothing except among their BBS postings (club.ppstream.com) where I'm guessing private users have uploaded blurbs with URLs that will get you to CCTV 5. As far as I can tell, neither the PPStream program nor the website acknowledge that CCTV-5 exists. For those links, you can click on them or paste them into a browser address bar once you've installed PPStream.

Or save yourself the headache and use TVAnts.

For some reason TVAnts runs reeaally slowly on my connection. PPStream works just fine, but TVAnts will take ages to buffer and then only show some 10 seconds before returning to buffering. They're both P2P right? Because I think P2P runs quite slowly on a lot of connections (like mine) here in New Zealand.

same thing happened to me and worst, running tvants took up more thn 50% of the pc resources/memory  can someone who's familiar with this care to comment? or any tips in the setting to improve connection? i tried googling it but didn't find much help... tks...
