Judging by the players, this events should not even exist.

Looks like lots of top players decline to play here except for China players cause LYB order???



The worst thing is probably the players like LD, ZN, XXF, TH etc already play 3 tournaments in a row in one month. This is the fourth tournaments in a row and it even did not have IBF points, will the players seriously win this event?

I think more 50% rumors about LYB are not facts. It caught my attention that many people, including here, loved to blame and curse LYB without reality checking, and gradually, becomes a fashion to show their understanding of China's badminton.

It's not an exception here. LYB's against this World cup, he actually against commecializing the badminton, and against the prize-money driven. For me, I support prize driven, but this world cup idea was not mature from the beginning, and seems dead end especially this year.

I concur, just look at the line-up only CHN top players are in with Indo sending their TH only, the rest are mostly 2nd. liner in the world some event club level player........is it really World Cup...... im not sure!:confused: :D

players in each group will play. the winner of A, B, C and D, will play their respective opponents for the quarter finals...
so winner of A pool plays winner of C pool, etc.
the winners from the quarter finals obviously advance to play each other (so winner of A or C plays winner of B or D.

its like a standard tree that you normally see in draws.
just shaped a bit differently.

world cup. Sucks big time... better they play soccer.
