View Full Version : the best looking player
2cents 12-02-2006, 11:59 AM I'm not a female, not a Lin Dan's fan either, but I have to admit that Lin Dan in the picture is the best looking amony all the players posted by yannie. I don't know why most of the pictures don't me feel good at all. I don't want to be discriminating, but to me, there is no single picture looks pleasant among all player of some countries.
Lin Dan looks so good in the picture, because I feel the symmetry, vigor, confidence, power, energy and beauty in it. Yes, Lin Dan looks the best at least in picture.
the best award goes to:

phaarix 12-02-2006, 02:43 PM Hehe Lin Dan always comes out onto court with his hair all done up nicely :). Good image for the no. 1 player though! Wish more players would be like that. Give Badminton a classy look :D.
Qidong 12-02-2006, 02:48 PM Who is the girl right below Cai Jun. She is gorgeous.
bananaboy 12-02-2006, 04:01 PM Some of the pictures posted in those threads were like really bad quality, and some players lacked the image of a professional athlete at all...
Simp84 12-02-2006, 04:06 PM what is good looking? This is a very subjective matter...
And why are we discussing about looks? This is stereotyping people..
Shouldn't we be discussing more interesting aspect of the game rather than worshiping idols?
yannie 12-02-2006, 04:16 PM LMAO @ this thread...
You picked Cai Yun hahahahaha!
The girl below Cai is one from Taiwan, but I forgot her name...
The last girl is Lim Pek Siah from Malaysia...

I am more curious as to why they would end up with such terrible pictures from those players, and it doesn't do badminton as a sport any favor when outsiders views those pictures when they already have an image of badminton not being a very great sport in some non-badminton countries.
Some of the female player pictures make them look like housewives, or house-maids...

yeah, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So in your eyes, can you tell the difference between these two groups:
group 1:

ctjcad 12-02-2006, 06:44 PM ..i think it's time for mods to lock up this thread...

Agree it's not favourable to outsiders but real badminton fans of substance know better. You should take a look at tennis players photos; some look like criminals. Don't hurt the sport one bit.

I disagree. The hottest hottie in tennis is Anna Kournikova. She's probably the most famous tennis player, and even in hot TV show "apprentice", the winner was awarded playing with Anna Kournikova not Martina Navratilova, not Sampras, not Agassi. It is Anna Kournikova the ordinary people want to play with.
Krisna 12-03-2006, 01:21 AM I think that Taiwanese girls in the photo is pretty. But I also like Firdasari. I saw her in person a few weeks ago before Doha. She has such a sexy sexy smile... :D Her photo in the AG website is not fair. Not her best pose...:p
tommy_bun 12-03-2006, 02:42 AM Firda look like BETTY LA FEA in that pic :D :D :D
paroxysmal 12-03-2006, 03:36 AM How about Saina Nehwal?
She is already being rated as the future world champion. She is just 16.

Baderz_Jas 12-03-2006, 04:41 AM Lin Dan No.1 in beauty as well :D yeah, probably because of his hair :D always changes :D :p
