I think the outcome of the men's team finals might very well be decided by this match. If the Koreans defeat Fu/Cai, they have a very good chance of topping China. If they don't, its pretty much over. Both BCL and CJ are superior to their Korean counterparts.

It seems to me the key is LHI taking the first game AND still have energy left. This makes LD go all out in the 2nd game. Then in the 3rd game, when LHI pick back his form, LD found that he no longer have the energy to do shots like those in the 2nd game anymore.

In the final stage of the 3rd game I think LD is very frustrated. This will be his first loss in team event in the past 4 years (interesting, his last loss is 2002 AG). Maybe this thought destroyed him.

I think **KZ** was referring to 2002 when China's 2nd doubles (at that time, Wei Yili was still partnering with Zhang Jiwen) lost to Korea's 2nd double during the round robin match prelimary round. At that time, Korea wasn't playing their top team. Because Wei/Zhang lost and China ended up winning 4-1 instead of 5-0, LYB yelled at them till they cried.
