"Question: So do we have to bring our own meat for the BBQ? Coz we are still confused over how people organise a BBQ here..."

Hi Mei,

Yes, bring your own meat for the BBQ, if you want to eat your cooked meat from the BBQ stove.

Confused ??? ...... Picture this scenario;
Everyone is to bring enough food & drinks for oneself. But at the party, we share our food & drinks... I try some of yours and you try some of mine.

Our hosts, Sherryn & Paul, will provide our basic requirements, eg cutlery, plates, cups, BBQ stove, etc, etc...
But Sherryn and Paul will also provide our basic/simple nourishment, such as boiled rice and salad.

Because we have so many different nationalities@CCC, over the past years, we have tried;
Curries from Burma, India, Malaysia, Thailand, etc...
BBQ meats from Australia, England, Hong Kong, etc...
Salads from New Zealand, Taiwan, Vietnam, etc...
Desserts from China, Germany, Indonesia, etc...

I am looking forward to try your Pineapple Rice from Singapore.
Helmut said he will do a different dessert from Germany this year.

And for those who are too busy to cook or to prepare their food, they just go and get some cooked food, like Peking Duck, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Japanese Sushi, etc...

Those who like singing Songs & Xmas Carols, please bring your song sheets. ;););)
Those who play musical instruments, please bring them along too. :cool::cool::cool:

Strictly speaking, the creatures that inhabit the world that are closer to my age prefer things more along these lines:

Oh, 'tis the season to be naughty, :cool:

Break a window, pop a tire,:rolleyes:
Ti-la-fi-fifififiiiiii.
Set the teacher's hair on fire....:p

I would never do any of the above of course. I'm a little angel. ;)

Be merry, all, stay safe, stay out of trouble, ;), etc. etc. and the usual stuff (brush your teeth after all the sweets, trees are flammable and prone to being knocked over, so be careful...:D)
