Hi all,
This is my first racket from CY. I own a Cab 9 for more than 20yrs. I'm a more offensive player. Cab 9 serve me pretty well. But as my age going higer every year. Need to have a lighter and faster weapon. I have try MP88 and MP99. MP99 is fine with smash but I can get any feel when do net play or clearing. MP88 is just lack of power when smashing ...
Feature of CY Nano-66
Frame : high modulus graphite with nano carbon, isometrics, partial muscle power head frame. Titanium mesh at 3.5 and 8.5 o'clock spots.. ISO
Shaft : high modulus graphite with nano carbon, and the outer layer is covered with woven carbon. Flexibility measure is about 8.5. I found it has long shaft compare to most Yonex racket. I will say it is more flex. It has a little transparent portion on the shaft so you can see the woven carbon inside. Pretty insteresting .. .combination..
String : Yonex BG80 at 25lbs.
Grip : I don't like the orginal grip. Replaced by 2 layer of Yonex over grip.

Performance... :
Smash : Powerful .... sound is lound and clear. You can feel the flex of the shaft. I have full control on the contact. Timing is perfect for me. Wrist shot is as easy as it can be. I feel this racket is a little head heavy..
Net play : Full control of the shuttle. very stable ... my drop shot improve alot..
Clearing : effortless... thanks for the flex shaft...
Defense : since the racket is at about 85g... It is faster than my 2U Cab9 for sure..
Conclusion :
Workmanship of the racket is not bad but need improve on little details like the grommets. Marketing of CY is s...... It is good for me since I can get a cheaper racket. I would say it is a very good racket. I should have it string at 30lbs to see the true power of the racket. If you want to buy this racket tell CY Wang .... HappyTA5 refer you.. PS. The next one I'll try is Apacs NP9900. But my racket will be here untile early Jan 2007.... this time I'll stung it at 30lbs for sure. .hahahah
