simple: 350 sucks and 300 is good.
350 is made from a cheaper material and has a different design. it is easier to break and doesnt fly nearly as well and consistant as the 300 does.

Shaun, if that was true, why is the 350 the more expensive shuttle in Yonex's nylon shuttle range?

expensive doesnt always mean best Brett. but thats what yonex wants the market to believe. although this is a poor excuse to my previous comment on the shuttles, my own experience with many different types of them has gone to show that 300 is best.
