I would say it's hard... According to what I see KKK/TBH didn't really change much compared with Jap final. TBH still tends to make errors. I would say Tony/Candra is still half level above them (and every other current top pair)

TBH has great smashes and KKK super fast. They are the Malay version of Cai/Fu, a bit less physical but more complete in techniques. This type of pairs is the nightmare of Alven/Luluk... :cool:

I guess the most crucial part in the game is the the second game interval, rexy should have ask them to change the strategy. They sent the shuttles to the baseline more as in clears instead of playing in the net where luluk and the taller alven was always ready there. And after the interval, MAS just blitz past them. The first game I should say is more sort of errors from both sides but Malaysia have a few kills. KKK is not as brilliant as yesterday but he don't have to be.

that whole statement is absurd starting off with the first sentence. im not defedning LD by any means, but i cant believe you would say something like that. taufik did not "own" LD. if you want to talk about ownage, LD has beaten Taufik 5 times in a row, and twice in the past couple of days. and why would it be idiotic to choose LD to win at the beginning when it clearly showed that LD has the advantage, especially when he 'OWNED' LHI in the previous match?
there are many taufik and LD fans on BC, but i dont think too many people will be out there to defend LD after this match. they should just say LD was beaten. but i pray that not many people start making threads about how Taufik is 'back' and how he will be 'unstoppable' after this match.

i'm sorry if i've gone overboard but you've got to see what this poster has written about TH. i'd give credit when it's due, LD is brilliant this year and deserve the #1.

LD owned TH. I said it. TH has done quite a number of controversial things in the past, he deserved all the craps he's gotten but that was months ago and people kept on reeking it out whenever possible and if he lost, people would start questiong his talent and started to talk about his win at Olympics/WC was pretty much fluke as all the top players crashed out and his draw was cakewalk. Even being a non fan was tired of reading it. So today he proved them wrong. Why isn't wrong to rub it to the haters while the haters did the same thing whenever he lost? Oh yeah, again, double standard.

Media kept on injecting the thing TH said regarding LD over and over and over again. I'm glad he went over to the other side of the court to shake hands with LYB to end the controversy once and for all.

When they first started the game, I got the feeling like it's going to happen like the previous matches. They started off good and I think if they're to stay like that, they'll win.. and I'm so happy that they really won!?! It was so kan cheong that I didn't want to go to toilet :p

and I've been yearning to hear Negaraku there... and finally.. i get to hear it .. for badminton. 1 gold and 3 bronze for MAS in badminton. Not too bad.

..and for once.. no Chinese players on the podium for doubles.

I like it for the men's singles... 1 from INA, 1 from MAS, 1 from China and 1 from Korea... A rep from each country.

Even China won 2 titles in Individual event but I would consider that as a failure, partial collapse but not fully. Glad to know Wang Chen won the title and Taufik regained his form by beating Bao Chunlai, Lee Chong Wei and Lin Dan, the top 1-2-3 seed of the tournament, what an achievement. The same can be said about KKK/TBH, unranked and won the title beating the Koreans, Chinese and Indonesians. Also congratulation for Gao/Hwang for putting "real" fight against team mates. Not sure what happened to the XDF??
