JoeyC. 12-18-2006, 12:10 AM I used to be using an at500 (3U) with bg-85 at 25lbs, but I really think that what people use will not necessarily be appropriate for you, I recommend you trying out different strings and tensions to find out the best one for you:) . DinkAlot 12-18-2006, 02:45 AM Everyone's different. For me, on an AT500: 28/31lbs. For PeteLSD: 32/35.2lbs. For CoolDoob: 15/17lbs. or something like that. It's all relative. jerby 12-18-2006, 04:00 AM or just go with bg80 at 24lbs... 60% chance you'll like it:p because if you use 25lbs+ you'll probably know your own preference better:o LazyBuddy 12-18-2006, 10:35 AM or just go with bg80 at 24lbs... 60% chance you'll like it:p because if you use 25lbs+ you'll probably know your own preference better:o Even this combo is quite high from most club level players, I think. Personally, if ppl come to me blindly, and have no idea about the tension, I usually suggest 22-23lb for BG65 or 21-22lb for thinner stirngs such as BG80/85. DinkAlot 12-18-2006, 10:38 AM Even this combo is quite high from most club level players. I guess it depends on the club. The average string tension at SGVBC is 25-26lbs. westwood_13 12-18-2006, 11:03 AM I use BG-65 with 24. So as you can see, it's all across the board. Hopefully you find something comfortable!
