I saw i guy drilling some holes in his handle and then put a new grip on top, he said it made it lighter. Is this a good idea even if the racket is cheap? does it help any? sounds kinda dumb to me!

That is actaully dumb becausethat person is weakening the structure of the handle. Wait until he regret when the handle collaspes.
