i just got a new racquet and it's longer than my old one...

and im wondering how this will affect my play...

can neone help?

If it's not much longer, it really shouldn't be a problem once you're adjusted to it.


Anything that isn't one of those short little junior racquets for four year olds should work out just fine :)

if you use shorter rackets, switching to a longer racket will affect your contact point, even if most long rackets are only 5mm or so longer but being used to a shorter racket you are not used to the sudden change of length and also your contact point will become slightly lower
