Kelvin 10-01-2001, 02:51 AM Aero=Aerodynamic shape, (not widebody, believe me when you see a widebody frame you'll know, because it is definitely wider than regular frames) Long= Long shaft (10mm longer than a "regular length racquet" Yonex standard being 66.5cm, long as classfied being 67.5cm. it is illegal to have a racquet longer than 68.5cm, as the IBF rules state.) MF=Mega Frame. (basically the isometric head has been widened, to make the head of the frame, more square, than even the isometric heads) Light=3U weight. Nothing special about this... just means the racquet is only available in that weight class. Up until recently all carbonex racquets have only been available in 2U weight class, but they have since introduced "light" models into the model line. Ok, so that was more like 2 corrections, and 3 or so other clarifications. :p -Kelvin yysince92 10-01-2001, 04:22 AM MF means mega frame Mat's 10-01-2001, 06:14 PM Thank's Matt 10-05-2001, 08:44 PM If you get the Yonex catalog all the meanings are provided. |
