Hey guys Just a quick question, Im trying to get SHB 98 MX 24.5cm but the supplier only has LX 24.5 and he says that its technically the same except for slight color difference... can anyone confirm this for me. I know from other sources that the LX might be a little narrower but other than that are there any dire differences i should be aware of?

ladies' versions of shoes are noticably narrower and are higher in the bridge area.
so mens shoes are generally flatter and wider, while lady shoes are narrower and taller.
not affected of course, is the height of the soles and such.
its just the upper thats affected.

My suggestion is to try it on, and see which one fits you better. I've seen some local players wearing opposite gender shoes, due to the nature of their own feet. As long as you feel comfortable, that's more important. ;)

unfortunately, a lot of us canadians don't have that luxary of trying stuff out... most of us resort to purchasing online for either selection, more competitive (or even acceptable, in some cases) prices, or both!
now in the case of shb98s, they're probably hard to find regardless of where you are. i'm more inclined to think he's getting them online.
trying on the shoes as lazybuddy said is the only test that counts, honestly.
if you don't have that opportunity, you're usually better off with something slightly bigger than slightly smaller.
or if you're unsure, go for a different model, something you CAN try on.
comfort and fit is always the most important thing.
