Guys this racket is amazing u can have control like ab 2000 but in term for smash like ab 900, I've got my replacement and try it today. I can't stop smashing:)
After the factory string broke i'll change it to bg-85 for more control. This one is less heavy than my MP-100 but generated more smash power:).:)

I have been saying this for ages! It is hell of a great racket! carlton has finally bought out a racket which can match the aerogear series of rackets!

AS ti is slightly more head heavy than AS 1 and man what a great racket. IF u are good enough u can pack a real good punch in it!

The As-Ti is acutally quite awesome. Compared to a mp-100 though, i get more power i think on the mp100.....

you struck me as somebody who as tried a lot of different rackets...
so how does this AS-TI compare to higher end yonex rackets such as
mp77, mp100, ti10 ?

I have not tried the 3U editions of the Yonex rackets that u have mentioned. BUt the AS ti is a very Good racket at 89-90 gms.

I think Mp 77 and Ti 10 are way better singles rackets then AS Ti.

The AS ti is a racket built for the player who beileves in using the wrist a lot! I Think it is very ideal for Doubles play as it gives u easy manouverability and quick reflex times.

I am not good enough to use the Mp 100 2u in doubles as it is kind of heavy for me in doubles but i guess it is way better in doubles than Mp77 and Ti 10.

I would say that the racket with a oval head would take sometime to get used to but i think from personal experience i would def rate it better than Mp 100 for doubles.

Ab 900 is a very good racket. I think what the Ab 900 lacks on a comparitative basis is the control of AS ti.

I think u can smash as Hard as a AB 900 in AS ti and i think u can control the bird as well as a Aerogear 1000FX.

So i guess the best of the best!

LL, i think it is pretty cheap in SG. It sells for 140Sg but it is even cheaper in India. But u cant get stock as the wholesaler buys abt 5-7 pieces only!

But pls be careful with Carltons as they have problems with regard to quality! Check the racket well and also what batch of manufacture and then buy!
