He was put into the main draw because someone pulled out. So he's safe, not eliminated.

MSQ1:
Should be Sony's spot as Ronald got a direct entry to the main draw
MSQ2:
Should be Wong Choong Hann (if he is decently fit)
MSQ3:
Fight between Anup Sridhar and Nguyen Tien Minh; I predict the Vietnamese
MSQ4:
Nakanishi v Dabeka; Tan Chun Seang could play spoiler

WSQ:
Due to withdrawal of Zhang, Xie, Jiang and Wang, the top four qualifying seeds (Xing, Mudukasan, Rice, Maria Kristin) got direct entry to main draw. Lee Hyun Jin (WSQ1) and Kim Moon Hi (WSQ4) look set to qualify but toss-up for the other two spots.

MDQ1:
Hwang Ji Man/Cho Gun Woo v Hui/Alroy (Hkg); Koreans should take it
MDQ2:
Ong SH/Tan BS v Lindley/Langridge; Malaysians favourites
MDQ3:
Koo KK/Tan BH v Chew CE/Hong CH; Koo/Tan should have no problems
MDQ4:
Shirley/Gordon v Warfe/Smith; Australians seeded to win, but I favour Kiwis

XDQ1:
Munt/Logosz promoted to main draw so Maeda/Masuda got this spot automatically (no difference to promotion to main draw, I guess)
XDQ2:
Nicholas/Langridge v Ooi SA/Fairuz; close call, think English has more XD class
XDQ3:
Suetsuna/Ohtsuka v Andersen/Nielsen; Danes favs
XDQ4:
Kim Min Jung/Joen Jun Bum v Fong CY/Gan TK; hard to say, Koreans have better female player, so they are favs

My money is on the Vietnamese. He's been lurking sinisterly in the last few tournaments and if his Asian Games performance is anything to go by, he could be a threat.

This is interesting, perhaps a kink that has to be worked out in future tournaments: Chris Langridge (ENG) just finished playing a XD match (close one to boot) and will be appearing for his MD match shortly. Not giving him much of a rest and consequently a huge disadvantage.

This has always been happening for players of both XD and MD, or XD and WD.

But I find three rounds in one day a bit too much, even for players entering one event only. Imagine playing six matches per day for those appearing in two qualifying events. I think the qualifying matches should be spread over two days, or at least one day and a half.

I meant that in the context of having to play that amount of games in one day. Yes, perhaps they do need to spread out qualifying over a longer period of time. Those who qualify for the main draw are at a severe disadvantage because of fatigue.

Hey guys, I just found out that the info that was shown in the tournament software is not that accurate or so. It's looks suspicious to me. If you will check the attached image below you will see the others stats (in red oblong)is the same with the score itself. Try to see the smash winner, net winner and clear winner stats are all 0. How come??? Does it mean that both teams didn't use any smash, net or even clear to win their rallies? I don't get it!!!

Langridge only have 3 matches today which is quite normal for a doubles player (although potentially he could have 6 if they were full draws; that would be bad). Whether he had tough matches is arbitrary, not something the organiser can control.

However, the organiser will normally spread his matches as far as possible. For instance, since he just finished an XD match, I think the organiser will schedule is MD match for the very last.

What is a "clear winner" BTW? Clearing is a defensive shot, very difficult for it to be a winner.

Should add "unforced error" and "service error" (server/receiver fault, shuttle out or netted etc.). Can also lump "service error" into unforced error.

Yes, I see that the organisers HAVE rescheduled his match for a later start. However, I don't think, as you have rightly pointed out, that a person could potentially play 6 matches a day, was what the organizers had in mind.
