he may 'hate' to be a consintence player , winning many reguler tournaments in a row but fail in a major tournament, i heard many chinese people (in a chinese forum website) bashed him after losing to TH in asian games 2006 final , that might have hurted him  .
hahahahahaha, i pay for myself hehe.. so no worries..
yeah.. the other day rian, flandy tried to sms me.. but failed.. stupid indonesia!!! i can never receive from them, and can not send as well..
as for china: i can not sms them, but i can receive from them.
malaysia: can send and receive

one thing really weird... and again.. stupid... when Hafiz playing wif chen hong.. he won first set, 21-9, then second set when he was losing, i heard someone shout at him tell him to play serious, silly mistake or something like tat.... then when he was playing not well, some ppl singing... ''ooo....ooo... balik kampung... ooo....ooo... balik kampung"...(means go back hometown) After he lost, i can still hear the crowd singing tat song to him...

I always respect the European spectators. They are matured and well mannered fans. They will clap when presented with a good rally and never jeer at foreign players.
I was at the hall on the first and second day. I was surprised that they were many indons around. I would say that 75% of the crowd were indons.
Fyi, especially to those who are not residing in Malaysia, there are many indons working here in the construction industry. Their numbers are huge. To put into perspective, during the massive repatriation in 2005, the sales of Nestle Malaysia actually dropped. This is due to lost sales in their instant noodle segment cause instant noodle is a regular diet for the indons.
Back to the topic, i was saddened when foreign players were being boo-ed when facing indonesian players. I just hope that those foreign players could know that it was actually the indons that hurled those abusive jeers. Beside this, i also heard words like "BALIK-LAH" (GET LOST!) and "BUNUH DIA" (KILL HIM!) My goodness, we are now in the internet age and would never kill someone when we lose in badminton!
I watched the game between JR/LP vs Eng/Rian. During the decider, JR shouted to himself loudly when he won a hard fought rally against the indon pair. The indon croed quickly returned with loud boos and jeers! I was so embarassed. I hope that JR knows that it was not the Malaysian who jeered. We Malaysians love you a lot. I guess the most we would do it just to shout, "MALAYSIA BOLEH!"

how is the atmosphere in the stadium now?
WCH is surely a favourite for the Malaysian audience.
Yes, it is rude to boo at the opposition and we should not do this if we have some self-respect and equally would not like others to boo at us for making mistakes or scoring a good point in the badminton court.
I hope as we interact more with others and show the better side in us, we could influence others to do more of the same. Less unkind words, less provocative action and more encouragement like clapping hands when both sides play a really good rally.
Having said this, I'm sure the Indonesian supporters meant no harm and it is just their way of expressing their excitement and involvement in the game. As Indonesian workers work away from home with little to entertain themselves in the host country, a badminton match which they all love since young, will surely work ttheir emotions to the hilt, especially that which involves their own countrymen in action.
In fact, players from some European countries love to play in Asia, particularly Indonesia, because they just love the lively atmosphere. Some Danish players have been reported expressing their delight playing in this part of the world.
Just as we want some Indonesian spectators to understand us, we must also try to learn to understand them better.
If you think Indonesians are the most expressive spectators, I think the Malaysians' chants of "Malaysia Boleh" by their supporters cannot be considered to fall too far behind, number for number, noise volume for noise volume. I have personal experience of both in different venues and I only wish that Singapore can produce as much vocal and gadget volume and action as our cheer team counterparts. But not resorting to vulgarism or gangsterism.
So long as water bottles and other injury inflicting objects are not aimed and thrown at spectators and players alike; so long as camera flash lights are not purposely directed at the opposition to blind them momentarily; so long as any action is not aimed at destruction and body injury; so long as law and order is maintained, we should allow supporters to let loose their emotions and enjoy a good outing.
After all badminton is entertainment!

Experience prevailed. WCH used to be Malaysia's fittest player, but age and injury have caught up with him. Surely now LCW must be his replacement. In this regard, it will do well for WCH not to prolong the match to three games.
He should go all out to win the second game and give himself a well-deserved rest. ;)

Maybe it is just me but i feel that they can be vocal but not to the extreme like "BUNUH DIA!" (KILL HIM!).
However, i see your point of view about the indon fans which i agree. Afterall, they are also very passionate about badminton. I hope that many people be it foreign spectators or players will be as understanding as you.

You have to understand that " Bunih Dia" means "Kalahkan dia"..Malaysian language can mean so much different (rough) from Indonesia...I do not see the big deal here at all...
