No, it is in Chinese RMB or Chinese Yuan. A Shenzhen/KL return ticket for RMB 1,570 is much cheaper than the normal HK/KL return fares of about HK$3,500 plus. If the Shenzhen/KL booking had been done a week earlier the fare would have been even cheaper at RMB 1,220.

When is The WC is taking place?Im having exam in august.What is the real date??But all members that have give confirmation to attend WC,please give the latest result for WC.each game.each player.im begging.

I will rather sit at home and watch Astro or perhaps RTM1 if Hasbulah Awang is commentating. Just to share my experience of watching LIVE in the stadium for my first ever time.
I was in the Cheras stadium 2 years back to watch/support the match between LCW vs Bao at semi final.

The feeling was,

1.) At first, i was very very excited. Because this is my first time to see it myself a LIVE match. After entered into the stadium..I really don't enjoy it and not use to it. I really can't see clearly each and every smashes, drop shoot, whether is in /out, all those perfect shot ...etc. By service charge hand, only i know that "that player" wins a point.. and i felt that is quite boring..why?? Because there is no commentater and it makes it not excited, partly is because i can't see them clearly.

2.) TV view is really a SUPER VIP view. With the Cam focus only on court plus commentating... with slow play back etc.. really make me feel like heart attack when watching it LIVE.

From that onward, i will never ever go to watch LIVE in stadium. But at least i had experience it before.. Anyway..this is only my own perception and my own experience. Hope u guy will be there to support MAS player especially LCW, KKK/TBH... I will be in front of TV for SURE to support them..

I think our Malaysian members should designate a place where we can meet. Preferably within the venue on the 1st day for those holding season tickets. I went to the Sudirman Cup and I saw a Malaysian booth next to the Yonex store. Maybe they should do the same. A small section with the sign Badminton Central. Hopefully, commemorative T-shirts will be offered for sale. I made friends with a lot of Malaysian and Indonesian who are based in Glasgow and I find them extremely friendly and hospitable. I believe being the host country, we can expect more.:):)

I'm definitely going.I have 2 season tickets but my friend is not sure if he can go. If ever that happens, I have 1 spare season ticket.

I believe a great number of members are from Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. It means many will be in KL for the World Championship. I would like to suggest to our Malaysian members to have a booth or at least a meeting place for members to meet and interact. Just booked my flight via KL to Sabah to visit friedns & to have some
warm up games there before going to watch WC in KL from 13-19 Aug.

Anyone interested to visit Sabah. Can join me 4-6 days. U may have

Yup! I booked my season tickets thru the internet. www.ticketpro.com.my (http://www.ticketpro.com.my)
It's an electronic ticket. The only problem is that you cannot choose the seat number. Unlike in other super series, you can buy preferred ticket then you can come early to get a good seat, no prenumbered seats. This time there is no point in coming early because you have an assigned seat (assigned by the computer unfortunately).:D Hope to see you there.:)

Sorry abedeng and Chris for replying late. The Singapore stock market is in pretty bad shape, just like many others in the region, no thanks to Uncle Sam, who started it all with their sub-prime mortgage lending. :rolleyes: Thus I have been kept buzy looking after my clients and also to ensure that they will not turn bad! :(

BadMania was supposed to return to Singapore on a more permanent basis but things did not work out according to plan and he has now to stay longer in Hong Kong. Not sure whether he could come and join us in KL this time, seems unlikely though if the varsity term in HK has not ended during the WC.

My reliable Malaysian friend, hcyong, who has been working here a few years has got me the season tickets but I can only depart from Singapore by coach on Wednesday midnight, 15 Aug, so as not to miss the morning session the next day. I will only return to Singapore with hcyong by night train on Sunday after the finals.

I have not forgotten that we are supposed to have a grand BC dinner get-together on Sat, after the semi-finals. Let's hope we can all meet and not to dissappoint Ants and Terry. :) I'm sure ants will be armed to the teeth with his hi-tech camera and if you want to be in the pic and be seen by all BC forum members, make sure you come! :D

kajang is far away compare to the R&R at shah alam expressway(Kesas H'way).... that toll plaza is not that jam. use touch n go or smart tag.....:D:D
