Tonight, I've played with my re-strung MP-100 (BG85 at 24 lbs, by my favorite shop, Luxis). Once again, I cannot give a throughout review - as I'm just an amature !
What MP-100 gave me this time are two words - "very good". As some other friends in this forum also shared the view that MP-100 gives much less vibration - I've the same feeling in both my 1st and 2nd try of MP-100. While my poor strung MP-100 really gave no power earlier, the properly strung MP-100 is very powerful ! Unlike my Ti-10 CN, the power of MP-100 doesn't seem to come from heavy head and the stiffness of the racquet - it feeels like the entire racquet itself gives the power - perhaps this is what people said "balance".
My MP-100 SP is not heavy head (in compare with my Ti-10 CN). It is also not as stiff as my Ti-10 CN. It's long (same as Ti-10 Long). It is not as light as those Carlton racquets (such as AS-1). Overall the racquet gave me a very "solid" feeling - something which no other racquet of mine can give (I've Ti-8 CN, Ti-10 CN, ISO 800, Carlton AS-1, ...). While the racquet looks quite similar to Ti-8 (long, isometric same, normal shaft, Titanium mesh, ...), it is definitely more powerful.
In contrast with Ti-10 CN, MP-100 is much easier to control - it doesn't seem to have problems of too stiff or too heavy - as a result, it feels like an all-rounded racquet. Regarding power, I think it can match Ti-10 CN (Ti-10 CN may give explosive power sometime, but in general, the difference is not that big) - however, the power seems to be generated from different elements.
In short, my MP-100 SP has become my favorite racquet now. As an amature player, MP-100 SP is definitely easier than Ti-10 CN to play with, but can generate similar power (I'm an offensive player and smash a lot).
At HK$888 in Luxis (most other shops sell for HK$1000+), I think it is a very good buy (Ti-10 CN costs HK$1080).
Finally, please don't consider the above as a review, it was just my personal opinion about MP-100 after using it for twice.
