Greetings from MBA,

We are very excited in bringing you our 2nd KX-MBA Muhibbah Badminton Championships 2007. The objective of this event is to promote unity and spirit of muhibbah among the races, young and old among our fellow Malaysian. The unique and beauty of this event is where a player must find a partner of a different race to qualify for the event.

The event has received much positive response. For the record, we have 315 participants during our 1st KX-MBA Muhibbah Badminton Championship in year 2006. So hurry and join us today and keep the Muhibbah Spirit Alight.

We also wish to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy New Year. May you and your family be blessed with abundance of joy, happiness, good health and prosperity.

10 & 11th March 2007 – Men’s, Women’s & Mixed Doubles (9am-6pm)
12 - 15th March 2007 – Boys’ & Girls’ Doubles (9.00 am-6.00 pm)

Michael’s Badminton Academy, Bandar Puteri Puchong
(Malaysia Largest Badminton Centre)
Lot 5462, Jln Persiaran Puteri 1, Bandar Puteri, Puchong

Events:
(a) Boys’ Doubles – Under 10, 12, 14, 16 & 20
(b) Girls’ Doubles – Under 10, 12, 14, 16 & 20
(c) Men’s Doubles – 20+, 30+, 40+, 50+, 60+
(d) Women’s Doubles – 20+, 30+, 40+, 50+
(e) Mixed Doubles - Open

Entry Fees:
(a) Boys’ & Girls’ Doubles -
RM20 (Malaysian) per player per event
RM30 (Non-Malaysian) per player per event
Each participant will receive a T-shirt (Free Size), certificate of participation & KX BSI string worth RM30

(b) Men’s, Women’s and Mixed Doubles -
RM30 (Malaysian) per player per event
RM40 (Non-Malaysian) per player per event
Each participant will receive a T-shirt (Free Size), certificate of participation, KX soft tacky grip & KX BS1 string worth RM40

Entry Deadline: Saturday, 17th Feb 2007

Draw Date: Monday, 26th Feb 2007

Answer: 20+. Adults event, senior can always opt for the lower age category and vice versa for children event. However, in your given scenario it is really such rare case where there is an entry of such age gap differences. Hope it answer your question. Have a Good Day..:)

So if I found a 14 year old partner but I myself am age 16... you said vice versa for "children's" event(sorry, but U16-children? Lol may be true but it kinda hurts =P) which means my partner will have to join the U16 category?

Or does that mean I'll have to join a 60 year old partner if I were to partner one?

this is the first tournement where they change the game days at the last minute they tell you a day b4 ?? do you think thats sensable ?

U16 starts on Monday, doesn't it? What do you mean by tell you the day before? I thought adults category 10 & 11 March, and 12-15 March 'kids' category?

What's their reason for it? If it's postponing at least not so bad... but bringing it forward and informing the day before? My friend also cannot go... U18 category(got such category? He's 18) cause they changed it so last min... he was saying they expect him to catch a flight back from north Malaysia at 10pm at night. Lol!

I took part in under 20 boys event. And i didn't even received the sms. Last night only i found out that my match was on saturday. So i walk over looo:mad: :mad: :mad: . Im so so so Gonna SEW them!!!!!

We aplogized for such situation. The reschedule of the boys & girls event was due to limited participants. Hence, we decided to bring forward the event and notices has been put up on board for such changes. Again we deeply regret for the inconvenience caused. We will do all best to improve to avoid such incident and Thank you for your support.
