Hi all, I'm not very good at spotting fake rackets, but I came across this one on ebay.... from those pictures, I kinda think it's real.... but I'm a noob at this so i dunno. Can anyone spot whether it's fake or not?? And if it seems real..... should I go for the offer?

Thanks!

Yupp agreed. Ok yeah..that is a FAKE FAKE FAKE, if you comparde a real ns9k and a fake the word that saids elastic ti it's on the wrong part. The font and lettering gives off the fakeness. I don't know why 11 ppl already bidded, it's a WASTE of money.

Fake racket. The color of the cone of Type S shall be blue, not silver.

Oh my gosh! The fake racket is really like the real one! Yonex and her regional dealers should do something to stop it.

Guys,

I think you've been fooled by some poor photography here.

I know the seller personally and believe me, this racket is 100% genuine! The serial no.s are correct according to the Yonex manufacturing database.

I notice alot of people on BC are quick to jump and cry "fake" whenever they get a chance but perhaps some more caution should be exercised before making such claims.....

Although some fakes are obvious to spot, some aren't and either way it's best to do the necessary research before making any such accusations.

yes, it's 100% genuine fake.
Now it's 4 opinions against your 1

Looks like you had guessed wrong on the AT700 in another thread. Your credibility on your friend seller's credibility is not very credible

Picture speaks for itself. Also the serial number in Ebay significantly off compared to the genuine one in the first link, considering they were supposedly manufactured on the same date. That is because the one on Ebay is counterfeit.

Also is the seller showing 2 racket cases - Very suspicious

5:1 eh? Phew! You guys don't hang about to crush a minority view do you.

I think at this point it is worth remembering that the majority view is not always the correct one....

All I can say in defence of my opinion is that the racket codes check out according to the Yonex manufacturing database that I have access to and after a couple of calls to Yonex associates in Japan they also confirmed that the racket seemed genuine/legitimate enough to them.

So forgive my minority view, but I'll stick with the experts on this one....

You said "seemed" so in otherwards, the Yonex reps were not quite confident in their responce. Chances are, those are not the correct reps to be talking to who knows how to check.

You do realize Leehsim can also check himself.
