if you use the right size it will help reduce blisters, you can try wearing 2 pairs of socks, that helps

i think buying a pair of badminton shoes is the way to go to avoid blisters and other foot related injuries. Wearing cross-trainers to play badminton is awkward and doesn't really provide a lot of support for your ankles etc

be warned that yonex shoes would be quite painful when first used. they usually hurt my sole but after a while it becomes comfortable.

Is it really that painful? Anyway it's normal because you need to "break-in" the shoes b4 using them for intensive sports like running, badminton etc. Normally I just wear my new shoes and walk around my house for a few days. :D

100% agree. I am doing the same with my new gym (not just badminton) shoes. ;)

Yonex shoes do really consist on those materials mentioned.. High quality and provide comfort.. Playing badminton is stressful for our legs, so better get a good shoe for yourself.. Yonex is recommended..

I just bought Wilson Evolution shoes and i think they're more comfortable than yonex shoes cause they're more wide. Yonex tends to be more narrow. Im still trying to get use to them cause i normally wear wide shoes. They look better than the yonex shoes too:cool:

Actually why did you get blisters in the first place.... ?I think you should be wearing shoes that don't quite fit for fast moving sport...A new pair highest end badminton shoes won't help unless you get the correct size. You may want to try getting a smaller size, shoes will expand and mould the shape of yr feet as you break into the shoes. Double socks I don't think it is nesserary...get think cotton support ones so that it doesn't slip in shoes and provide some shock absorbing. Keep things tidy and clean, not to fool around with improper footwear, one slip, sprain and it will rule you out for long....
