...a lot of M'sian fans/BC supporters are up and following the actions...;)
As for Joko/HendraAG...sorry, they're not good enough/consistent yet...Besides, the POL pair, they just played, were the winners of last yr's 2* Bitburger's Luxembourg Open, so they're no easy meat either..;)
Sadly, this is true. The Poles have beaten them (in the final of the Bitburger of course) and yesterday, they managed to get beaten again
Currently, PBSI can only rely on Kido/Hendra. Younger pairs like AG/Joko, Yoga/Yoke still lack big match experiences. I guess that's also one reason why Fran Kurniawan decided to quit PBSI.

So none of our Singapore players advance to the next round! :crying:
But there is consolation in seeing Ronald Susilo playing so well and almost defeating 5* Bao CL with a very close rubber match before losing 21-18, 15-21 and 21-23. Well done Ronald and hope you can peak for both the KL World Championships the Beijing Olympics.
Another outstanding performance was by the brothers' pair of Hendri Saputra and Hendra Wijaya who lost to past AE Danish champions Jen Eriksen and Martin Lungaard in three hard fought games of 15-21, 21-12, 26-28.
But it is sad to see Kendrick Lee losing so tamely to Shoji Sato 12-21, 14-21.
And of course the unexpected defeat of the 4* Great Dane, Peter Gade at the hands of Dutchman, Dicky Palyama 21-15, 19-21, 19-21. Will this spell the beginning of an end to PG's illustrious career? :(
Well not things are easier for LiNdan after Gade is out. I'm sure Peter will bounce back. He is just having a bad day. He played well actually. But Dicky played even better.
Sad to know that Roslin lost. But his stamina just gave him up in the 3rd set. But i do smell some vulnerability in Lindan when he was stretched to 3 sets by Roslin.

emmmm....... smells nice n great haha.... im starting to get hungry for more badminton hahaha....
surprisingly, roslin has shown some (a lot) improvement lately.....
i remembered last time how i describe him as hopeless as well hahaha....
hopefully more MAS players bounce back and more juniors to fight in elite level.... MALAYSIA BOLEH! MALAYSIA BOLEH! MALAYSIA BOLEH!

The recipe to improve your game is to leave the national team. Look, Roslin and then Lee TS.
Tan Chun Seang is ok, but at his age (20), most good players are already in the elite. Hopefully he's a late bloomer.

Picks for the day
MD
Eng Hian/Sukmawan v Ong SH/Tan BS - undecided
Koo KK/Tan BH v Sigit/Fran
Paaske/Rasmussen v Kido/Setiawan - if you only watch one match today, this is it
Choong TF/Lee WW v Blair/Clark - tough
Other matches involving Malaysians
Lin WF/Fairuz v Bach/Malaythong
Zakry/Gan TC v Fuchs/Spitko
I have to say that I agree with you on all your answers, especially about if you only watch one match, make it the men's doubles. BUT I think there will be a big upset with the Lin WF/Fairuz VS Bach/Malaythong. I know they can do great things, I've seen Bob play. He definately has the talent. Him and and any world champion would make a formidable pair. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE. Although I'm probably over estimating them a little >_<
