As I search threads for places to play in Paris I am amazed to find such a large city with so few places to play. Can this be true? Perhaps this is due to the lack of people that know about this particular web site. I doubt seriously there are so few players/venues in a city of so many people.
Well if I can't find a place to play, there are plenty of other things to do.

Hi there,
I will be in Paris this coming May 14 through 18 for a vacation. I was wondering if you would not mind letting me play badminton together with you? I am an advanced intermediate player and have been playing badminton for 4-5 years now (3 times a week).
If you could tell me the details about it and where it is, I'd appreciate it so much!!. I am an Indonesian in my early 30's, but living in the USA. I will be staying in Paris (close to Eiffel tower). Merci beaucoup!!! :)

To Jejay and Ming Paris: Thank you very much for your offer! I've been trying to make my last arrangement in where I'll be staying in Paris. That's why I can't confirm with you when I can come to play yet. I'll be arriving on June 13 and is planning to stay for 5 weeks. I'll be totally relying on my relatives for transporation during my stay. Therefore, I don't want to commit any specific time for badminton yet. I'll probably send a e-mail to one/both of you once my schedule is settled down. Thanks again and hope to meet you one day!

Hi to all!
i know this thread has been dead for a year, but the topic is still very interresting!
I will be in Paris for vacations in early july and i would be pleased to be able to play in Paris against new people!
I will be in Belleville (11eme arondissement) so i would like to know if there are clubs not too far (or at least by metro) to play!
I'm an advanced intermediate that is currently working hard to make it for university team in september! :)
hope to hear from you all!

Hi,
on the following link, you've got all the club in the enlarge area of Paris.
http://www.ffba.org/federation/annuaires/documents/clubs_RP.pdf
all the club in Paris are register there. For your information, the city of Paris is referenced by 75XXX and the last two digits defined the area from 01 to 20.
In july, this is the summer time and the season is over. Some clubs don't work until september because the gymnasium are not available.
You can ask to the club Who's bad in Paris first.
I'm not play in Paris but in the city around FRESNES, we will still have session on july. So if you are interessing, we can kkep in touch.

Do hope your friend and the daughter understands and speaks French. The former World Diplomatic Language before English didn't fade that fast from the Proud French. Bonjour Pi Hongyan! :)
