The City of Denmark Open 2006 was Aarhus.
At the very heart of Denmark lies Odense, birthplace of Hans Christian Andersen and Denmark's third-largest city - the fairy-tale capital of Funen, home of 200,000 people and with a history stretching back over 1000 years.
Odense is a top cultural city, with a wide range of exciting museums and attractions: The Hans Christian Andersen Museum, with rare, unique editions of the author's fairy-tales, private letters, notes and personal effects.
Odense is a vibrant modern city with a host of events - especially in the summer including music, theatre and street entertainment for young and old everywhere - normally free of charge.

yannie 03-24-2007, 08:32 AM There is an old quarter of Odense, where you will find these lovely small houses and the cobble-stones and of course plenty of souvenir-shops.
http://p.vtourist.com/303873-General_Tips-Odense.jpg
Just follow the busloads of tourists in order to see the old houses.
http://p.vtourist.com/303876-General_Tips-Odense.jpg
Many of these houses simply seem to be too small for ordinary people - and it seems to be some sort of a decoration for Andersen's fairy-tales, but it simply was the size of the houses of wealthy people in ancient times.

COLD! Lol.. Nah, maybe around 5-10 C. Remember to wear a thick autumn or winter jacket..
:p..miss yannie, 5-10° C (41°F to 50°F) is cold, esp. for someone coming from Asia (perhaps S.E. Asia)...Even here in the U.S., that temp. is already quite chilly..:crying::D;)
yannie 10-12-2007, 03:52 PM yeah true.. but i heard some asian players do like europe.. hahaha they say they like the cold here.. =) since it's way too hot in south east asia..
kimpe_bultang 10-14-2007, 01:58 AM Yes... It's very very very hot here... Weeeew..
V3i HoN6 10-15-2007, 10:03 PM COLD! Lol.. Nah, maybe around 5-10 C. Remember to wear a thick autumn or winter jacket..
Thanks Yannie.
5-10 C is still alright I guess.
I'm worry that it would be like negative 10 or 20 since Denmark and Sweden are pretty much near to the northern end.
Just bought the winter coat and glove for her.
She will be around the Oresund (Copenhagen and Malmo) for 1 week.
yannie 10-16-2007, 02:37 PM No hahahahahaha.. Denmark and Sweden are okay. Not that cold. Just like UK. Hehehe.. But not as rainy as UK.
Tell your friend good trip. Enjoy.
