Predictions for Aviva Singapore Open 2007

Hmm, anyone wanna contribute your opinion on who will win Aviva?? I think that KKK/TBH will win, as they are on top forms, Taufik Hidayat also.. Well, he has always been in top forms everytime matches are held in Asia.. WD, I hope that Gresia/Jo will come back.. Or even Greysia/Vita... XD, Liliyana/Nova, hope Liliyana has recover frm her injury, and Greysia/Rijal may go as far as semi-finals.. but, I think that greaysia should concentrate more to XD, as she's better there.. And, maybe PBSI can try to put together Vita/Jo, they are tall, and Jo is more experienced than Greysia, less pressure on Vita there.. Well, that's my prediction.. Can't tell about WS, maybe Xie can go to finals.. Oh, and Rian S/ Eng Hian too, they are quite good.. :D :D

In the last two Singapore Open that I went to, the fans are either shouting CHINA JIA YOU, or INDONESIA *clap clap clap clap* Maybe it'll be interesting to see a change this year. MALAYSIA BOLEH, or sthg like that. I support players from various countries. my friend is giving me corporate seats. I hope I can take pictures with Badminton players again this year. I hope KKK/TBH will get into final. I love watching them. I hope to meet Xu Huaiwen too. Although she's old for a player, I like her spirit!!!

That why we call them 'the young pair','new pair' cause they are just 6 months old pair, they certainly needs more advices from their guru, LWW/CTF
have been there for ages, and been play under different coaches...they are more expereince than KKK/TBH....kkk/TBH will catch up ...and be more independance as time goes by.......give them time......pls.....in fact its nothing wrong for being to rely on their coach's teaching ......and wins some touny...:D ........... thoes good results...tells all...;)

I dont have any predictions, but I'm hoping that Peter Gade, Taufik Hidayat, Chen Hong, Lee Chong Wei; all have major showings to stomp out China's national team contingent... or at least have some fun matches against each other :D

As I already posted in another thread... the china versus china finals for men's singles seem very boring lately... its like they're only sparring and having a friendly game; no fighting spirit... :(

I mentioned Chen Hong, because I support and commend his actions as an individual, to want to do better; and give himself a greater opportunity to achieve his goals.

Men's doubles I'm cheering for any pairing versus King Koo & Tan... so long as it's an exciting match up :D

Women's doubles, if Gao Ling is still paired with Huang Sui I hope to see these 2 little fire crackers duking it out with another pairing from elsewhere in the finals.

Dont have any preference for mixed, or WS :p

MS: LD, who is going to beat LD(if he is 100% healthy)? Not CH, Not TH after seeing their recent form in ABC

MD: Fu/Cai, or Erikson/Lungaard. Too many inconsistent teams here. TG/CW had a bad tournament in Swiss, KKK/TBH had one as well in ABC. I rather bet on the more consistent teams.

WS: XXF or Zhu. Zhang Ning is less consistent compare to the two I predict.

WD: YW/ZTT... great performance by the two so far.

XD: GL/ZB. Gao Ling has to have at least one title from every tournament, you know.

Actually. if you observe properly the recent matches played by fu/cai, cai also ha a hand signal. His hand signal is quite fast compared to fu. The signal gave by fu was when everyone is prepared to play. While cai gave the signal when they are still preparing on the court to play. I realize cai signal in these few recent matches only. Previous matchs i think only fu had given the hand signal. And, i don't think it indicate high or low serve because like what said by emperor fu indicate 1 finger even for high serve. Till now I have no idea about it. Would continue to figure out.

Double is still a team game, how well the players communicate with one another is part of the success! In short, is good to have those fingers raising as long as it not the middle one :D

It will be a good match to watch. The way they both play is like 2 fine swordsmen fighting in the chinese movie. If Lin Dan is determined to win this time, he should win. But sometimes he just wanted to test his or his opponents' limit which caused him to pay the price.
