View Full Version : Had to Pay for Wrong Shoes

Hi guys
Its been a sorry story.
I was in China 8 months ago and was playing at the club near my apartment.The Sole had come off my YY Shoes and I was wearing a regular Jogger shoes for a match.
I Twisted my ankle during a point.The Pain was unbearable.I went to the doc and he said that there were no breakages and gave me some chinese medicated bandages.
Since that day I have some pain in my ankles.There is a small swellin in my right ankle even after 8 months.I have started playing again.
I wear a pair of Mesuca(A Chinese Brand) shoes since that Day which are quite broad and used to wear some SPEEDO Ankle braces in both my ankles while playing.I hate this pain which is not at all leaving me.I went and consulted many orthopaedists and all of them tell me that there is nothin wrong.I have been applying some local application for the past 8 months for no avail.
When i rotate the ankles the tendons always tend to slip making a cracking sound all the time 24X7.
Please tell me what to do in order to restore my ankles in the way they were earlier.

Maybe go to an acupture place or maybe get sportsdoc to help you. I tend to wear soccer shin pads sometimes when my ankles hurt<--I don't know but it really help for me.:D

Definitely get a second opinion, it sounds like you need medical help. And certainly see an athletic therapist asap.

ill check if there is a sports therapist here in Bangalore and consult him/her

Do more exercses to strengthen it again. I have twisted my ankle many times before. It will feel loose once the swelling has gone down. You have to strengthen the muscles around the ankle again. Do calf raises etc. I've done it many times and my ankle is back to normal =)
