Hi there,
Any one pls explain me about Racket Balancing !
When we see "Balancing: 280-295 mm", what does it mean?
Thanks

tttoan,

What it means is that the pivotal/balance point of the racket, in its original factory form, i.e. original grip and unstrung, is between 280-295mm measured from the butt end.

Logically, the higher the balance point towards the head, the more "head-heaviness" is the racket, conversely, the lower the balance point, the more "head-lightness" is the racket.

Personally I find the specs on the balance point given for any racket is quite confusing as the upper and lower limit of the range could make a lot of difference. Nothing is better then holding the racket in your hand and/or compare with another racket if the racket is head-heavy, head-light or even balance.

Bearing in mind, the original balance point will change once you put on the string and any additional grips. Depending on personal preference, these adjustment may alter the balance point quite a bit.
