Anyone know of any places to play in Vienna/Innsbruck? I know of the courts at Pressbaum, can I have some more information ... specifically the answers to the following questions - do we need to be members? and do they rent out racquets?
any suggestions of places to play in Vienna city would be appreciated
thanks

you don't have your own racquet?
rented racquets tend to be crap because the string tensions are all out. i would say it's better to get a cheap/mid range racquet which is well strung than waste money on rented racquets.

I do have my own racquet:D
Its only that I may not be carrying it, since I'm going to Austria primarily on a holiday...

Have you gotten any response where to play in Vienna? I will be there between 1st to 9th May, hoping to get a game or two over the weekend...

Any information will be great, thanks in advance....

This hotel - HOTEL BOSEI - AUSTRIA TREND VIENNA - has badminton listed as one of its recreational activities...
so does Airo Tower Hotel.
The stadthall was the venue for a recent baminton tournament, though I don't think they have permanent badminton courts [the site - www.stadthalle.com is in German]
Wellness Park Oberlaa seems to have a few badminton court (again, the sites in German, and translation isn't much of a help)
sorry...won't be able to play with you...I'll be arriving only on the 12th
