I just got it today from a coach - this is a very difficult to find racquet (I mean the CP version), perhaps because there are not so many PRC players using the Ti Swing Power series, as a result, there are only limited quantity being manufactured.

However, after 3 hours of game, I really love this racquet very much. Mine was string with BG66 at 25 lbs and it fits my play style extremely well. I used to play with Ti Swing Power SX and Ti-10 these days, I found that my new SS can generate as much power but at the same time, improve my defense significantly. My arm was also less tired in compare with using Ti-10 or SP SX.

While I believe the normal SP SS should perform similarly, I'm very glad to get the CP version. :)

p.s. Fyi, I've Ti SP SX, Ti SP SA and ISO 900 SR, this was my 1st time playing with "SS".

Ricky,

i am glad you see the greatness of the SS. IMHO, offers the best in weight and balance. i just bought my 3rd SS!

I have the SS and I love It TOO. But i Think it is still not as stiff as i want it to be! But one hack of a racket! I Bought it because i wanted it as a back up of my slim 10! But stopped using the slim 10 and have excessivley started using this!

I am yet to lay Ng 85 to see performance! Even though yonex says Bg 65 i sthe gut for this racket i want to try 85! Very good racket!

yogi,

another SS user! woohoo.

the key is of course, as what Ricky has done, buy the CN/CP version of the SS. you will instantly get a stiffer and more solid feeling SS.

i can generate so much power on the SS! but yet, it is not too heavy to be slow. i regularly switch between the Ti-10 and the SS, and found them to be quite complimentary. the Ti-10 is definitely way heavier.

you think the SS isn't stiff enough? try the SR, that's a really soft racket! i used to use it and whenever i try to switch back, the SR feels like a noodle and too light.

perhaps i should give the SX a try some day.

kwun or ricky, how does a CP TiSP SS plays compare to a non-CP SS? Previous comments mentioned that CP/CN are heavier and studier, wouldn't CP/CN weight and balance differ from the non-CP/CN?

For 900 SS, I think Kwun had shared his comment earlier. For TiSP SS, as I haven't played with regular TiSP SS before, I can't make any comment at this moment. However, just like many other CN/CP racquets, the TiSP SS CP seems to have a more solid build (I've two other non-CP TiSP, SX and SA).

Since the SS is so good for me, I'll likely to buy another one soon - and I probably will buy a regular TiSP SS instead of the CP version, as the TiSP SS CP I've is the only one TiSP SS CP I've ever seen (fyi, you can't find it even from Luxis or bbeshop). I can then tell you guys my comments on these two racquets at that time.

Surprisingly, I know no PRC player use TiSP SS for tournament ! As I said earlier, this may be the reason why there are so limited quantity of TiSP CP available. As far as I know, Roslin and Gong Zhichao are the only famous players whose use TiSP (Roslin should use SX, according to Yonex Japan Web site).

Another surprise, the only other TiSP CP I've ever seen is a SA (I don't own that racquet) !

yah, i've found kwun's june13/01 review.

I too kinda out grew my iso900sr. I have used this racket for over 2 years, both single and double plays. However, two month ago i switched to my cab20Power because i need to play more aggressively against better double opponents. Recently during a warmup, i thought i'll give my good old iso900sr a swing. Well, like kwun said, the shaft feels like noodle. Maybe it's time for me to give the TiSP SS and a MP77 a demo. Too bad yonex stop the development of the cab 20P/22.

cooler,

i am so glad you are agreeing with me. definitely try the SS. it has a similar feel like the SR, but heavier and more sturdy. and more poundage onto the birdie. depending on your stength and style, you may want to just demo it, as you may think that's light as well and a Ti-10 or SX will suit you better.
