i think they are coded in whatever country they get their sponsorship

i hope you are not buying into the whole JP is the best thing, cuz even if lets say DK rackets break 24/7, people like PG is still sponsored and he probably gets free replacements

Does this really matter? According to yonex, all the rackets (regardless code) are made to be the same, and passed the same QA standard. Whatever code being printed on, should be less important.

This is something I personally don't get.... if all the racket's are the same, what's the need for a region code? other than where it was from, theres no other meaning to the region code, one isn't better than the other.

The code is the distribution code. It means, where this racket is intent to be sold. Of course, it means a lot, but mainly from the manufacture point of view:

1. Warranty: Each region offers different warranty. Therefore, the code can let the inspector easily determine whether this racket qualify the warranty to begin with or not.

2. Inventory control: Instead of 1 big messy pool of rackets, this makes easier for market analysis, to see which region requires more inventory on any particular models.

excellent explanation sir. im kinda tired of hearing that this racket w/ this code is better than that racket w/ that code.

The only characteristic to really worry about is the cost. Some regions offer better deals than others, with JP vs. SP being prime examples.
