the only active badminton clubs here is the KL ones. i'm from ipoh and there's no club that i could find to join. might not know the right people. so my point is, dont hold your breath.

sorry i was not clear earlier. i am a woman. there are some badminton gangs here in ipoh of course. there's a lot of guys who play badminton. but a badminton club that accepts male and female players and maybe conduct a training session once in a while are not available here in ipoh. if there is one, i haven't found it. i play with a bunch of girlfriends. and some friendly uncles next to our court.

hallo:D sorry to azabaz ipoh , you know what i'm saying ha:o , anyway you can keep practice more :o , for me i keep heating tha wall , backhand specialy:eek: ,untill you tired then rest , thats the kampong style :D .do your net play with the wall . you find out ,you scared thats your racket will scratch the wall .if you can't do it :mad: mean you love your racket more than how you play . before heating the shuttle think first :confused: thats make a lot of change .:p azabaz ipoh you have to beat your next court uncle , then you will find out you can play badminton with who you want to play with .

:D i do practice by hitting the wall. backhand especially because i know i am weak with my backhand. happy to say the backhand has improved. maybe my muscles are getting used to it and getting stronger. however, i dont know how to net play with the wall. if i hit the shuttle too soft it wont bounce off the wall. anyway, i will try some more. maybe i'll figure it out. yeah, the uncles are not the oldie slow playing uncles. they are really good. they play fast pace, quality and trick shots too. once, one of the uncles played with us and he won. so the next game he told us he was going to use his left hand. and he WON! we were so embarassed. he eh he. so much to improve, yet without a coach, not much we can do. yeah, our target now is to beat the uncles. :D

Kuantan basically is not a big town where most of regular players can find member easily. State player, estate player all play along. You don't need a computer to invite people to come
