I plan on buying this racquet bag today possibly. What are your opinions on the up to 6 racquet model? I want to stuff some school work in it too. At first I was going to get the up to 9 racquet model. But I need your guys opinions/reviews.
Thanks very much:D

I use the 9-racket model. For me it fits my 6 rackets, 3 shirts, shoes, two tube of birds, a folder, a large text book, and a laptop pretty nicely. Highly recommend it if you plan on carrying school work.

I have the older version for tennis. It is very good design and durable. I have the new 9 racquets model for my badminton racquet. I was able to fit 12 badminton racquets (6 with thermo cover and 6 without), 6 tubes of shuttles, 1 pair of shoes, overgrips and hide some dirty magazine (Yonex 2006 catalogs). I like it very much.

im pretty sure the tennis and badminton versions are exactly the same bag, because i have the 6-racket one but i got it from Tennis-warehouse.com instead of badminton-alley because it was much cheaper, same thing really, only 40$ at tennis-warehouse.com

FYI, they are the same for 9624. Just get the cheaper one.

tennis versions are slightly taller and wider than badminton versions.
i have both the 2424 and the 2420 and the 2424 is noticably taller and wider.
the tennis versions have two straps (backpack), whereas the badminton versions have one.
the above descriptors apply to the 9620 (badminton) and the 9624 (tennis) bags too. i have seen them all side by side, with compariable amounts of gear inside.
if you wish, i'll see if i can sneak a photo of our bags if we all happen to have free time together later this week.
someone has the 9624-9 too, and its massive compared to the 9624. easily 1.5x wider than the 6-bag.

i have this model, and can say that even though it says 6 rackets, it will definitely fit up to 10 rackets no problem.....
this is a the best one in the market in my opinion...not too big not too small...

thats because its a tennis bag. it fits 6 tennis racquets, or 8-12 badminton racquets.

azn_123: how many rackets will you be carrying in the bag?
Taking that into account, you can then determine which size that may be most suitable especially if you'll be carrying some of your school stuff in there as well.
Do you really need that bag?

Do you really need that bag?
u do if u happen to have the tendency of snapping string/racket
in the middle of a rally and have the speed to run outta court
grab a spare, come back then win the point

hey can someone explain to me how the shoe compartment works?
like, when u slot in ur shoes, will the pocket that holds it at the bottom affect both comparments (hope this makes sense), n if yes, wont it collide with racket handles/heads when u put them in?
o yea, talking about the 9624-6

Technically, the racket handle does come into 'contact' with the shoes. But it would not put much pressure on the rackets as the shoe compartment is underneath the compartments for your rackets/ misc stuff.
To add on, the racket compartment is just nice for a pair of shoes and only occupied the top part of the bag (If u carry it as a backpack).
Conclusion, if you are worry abt collision then it is not a big problem. You will understand better once you have hands-on on the real thing :D

My model is the one below - 7824. I found all the 9 rackets models way too big. You can easily fit 6 racquets with out the full covers in one compartment. The other compartment for clothes. 2 smaller component for birds, grip, etc...

Thanks, was actually looking at that model as well.
Wondering if it's too big as I only have 2 rackets. Most importantly are the compartments for shoes, shirts and birdies.
