Yeah it wasn't exactly Lin Dan at his best or anything (and the match didn't even finish)... but Simon has still improved a lot it seems :).

It's sad Lin Dan didn't come to this tournament. That would have made a perfect draw for me.

...as he redeemed himself yesterday, in his match against Taufik, after losing in last yr's Indonesian Open Finals...He came in prepared and focused..On that note, I won't be surprised if he takes the title home this yr..;)

..(i haven't watch the match yet) from friends & acquaintances who watched the TH vs. Bao's match in INA, they said Taufik definitely wasn't sharp and on top of his game. Could be because he basically didn't train and prepare well enough, if at all; basically lack of practice. He tried and looked "motivated", but his struggle could also be because he "underestimated" BCL and thought he could win the match, with the support of his countrymen, even if he's behind.
Yes, he did mention something to the effect of "he wants to get this yr's IO to break Ardy Wiranata's record etc.", but then it's all talk..:p
However they said, BCL looked much more prepared, ready and crisp for his rematch against Taufik. And he deserved the victory, no doubt about it.:cool:
