a well deserved win by BCL. TH plays his normal self but BCL denied TH's unleashing his awesome jumpsmash by either playing very tight counter netshots or by pushing fast into TH's backhand. and BCL is getting more drive winner than TH. BCL also wins in court coverage as well as holding onto his composure despite a tight match and (to him) questionble line call.

looks from this match that BCL has really grown up. congratulation to him for winning against TH in his home court. this is quite an achievement.

it is a fairly one sided match since the 2nd game interval. after that KKK/TBH suddenly gotten into a mind block and have been making mistakes and wrong shots one after the other. and soon they lost their fighting spirit and pretty much handed the Chinese the 3rd game. perhaps it is fatigue creeping into them.

Cai/Fu looked really good in attack. Soo friggin fast! M'sians were far too defensive. Like they werent too comfortable to go for the attack.

Yeah I agree, I thought the same of him, but he was definitely a lot faster than usual. He was really aggressive and he made very few mistakes. It's a whole new BCL to me. I had a feeling this would happen. It's the same feeling I get whenever I cheer for someone who I'd usually expect to win. I'm always proven wrong it's just not fair :mad::p.

Well, they are both in the top 20 with previous partners, so saying world no 80 beat world no 3 is a bit misleading.

Good for KKK/TBH. Now they don't have to meet FHF/CY until the final. And don't have to meet CW/TG until the semis (or not at all).
