I always think, LCW was good when he was coach under misbun, then suddently BAM hired LI Mao....LCW still good for some time but just can't beat LD, BCL,...where he always beaten BCL before coach under Li Mao..that maybe cos Li Mao style of play was more on controlling the game comapred to Misbun emphaize more on the attacks...like the way he train Hafiz to play during the AE2003....maysbe this style of play is more suitable for him to reach a new height in his badminton career.........congraculation LCW and keep it up and up ...all the way

He was really down after losing to BCL in last World Champ. He regain his confidence after winning this match. This must be a turning point for him.

The game is played in neutral INA, fair and square...nobody told LD to withdraw and TH to lose. LD withdrew probably because he is hurt and not 100%. TH lost because BCL was better on that day. Sometimes that is how the draw played out...if BCL won, I would say he is a deserving champion beating so many top guns along the way. LCW aplauded BCL on the podium probably because BCL played very well in this tourney, also eliminated TH, PG for LCW. LCW needed this win badly, and I am so glad he did it...way to go!!! LOL!!!:)

It was Msia Open held in Sarawak. Men Single final between LD n LCW. In the final game, LD was leading 20-13 and LCW crawled all the way back to win the MS title.

To be complete frank as a malaysian and a CW fans, I think both LCW and BCL are both equally good. Just that luck is more on CW side today, and no one can deny luck is still part of the game. Afterall, luck has been forsaken him for quite sometime.

Yeah man. LCW stomped BCL's ass big time today. It certaily wasnt luck. LCW was just too good. Probably hit form, while BCL's form probably peaked yesterday against Taufik.

When LCW played badly at the start of 2007 losing in the early round and not advancing past the QF, suddenly, the high expectations and pressure cooker of being the one to beat subsides...and LCW play with much less pressure, calm and relaxed as we can when he played CH in SF. This turn out to be a blessing.

Thanks for the info. Does it mean all the SS tournaments have the same total prize money? If i'm not mistaken, the grade/star of the tournament is very much based on the total prize money. anyway, it's only personal thought

Just what i think but im no expert in badminton game.

From what I see, BCL has the upperhand in the first few minutes that sending the shuttle back front left right and got CW running around. But further down he did few unforced errors and that gaps map him lost the confidence until CW took over.

I just think that CL made too many mistakes sending the ball out of the court. I would be more happy to see CW win with more smashing.:)

With the new scoring system, few unforced errors are good enough to kill his/her own games. That's why badminton is such an exciting yet tough game. A player can win one point with superb smashing but can also lost many points subsequently with few unforced errors. That's part of the new scoring system...

If u notice LD's game, he hardly make any unforced erros (expect his off-form day), dats why he is might LD... I admire his skills, mental strength and most of all, his self confidence... he is such a cool guy, just like my idol, taufik :p

LCW was clearly coming back and his training spoke plenty coz there was the speed which he used to have taught by Misbun but somehow he lost that when Li Mao took over. No disrespect to Li Mao, Misbun has got that back for LCW.
